We-” *Boom* The words forfeit did not come out, for Kylie who was swaying unsteadily on stage suddenly stood upright, and a massive power billowed out from within her small frame. The eyes of the patriarchs and the crowd changed, and surprise filled their faces. “Oh?” the assassin leader from the Council smiled in amusement as he watched Kylie. His eyes were filled with delight, and he licked his lips with expectation. “Looks like the mission is not over after all.” Elder Sand laughed happily like a fool as he watched Kylie’s upright figure. Next to him Eva and Marie showed some surprise for the first time. Chuckling, Elder Sand said,

Lady Wilson yelled, “You can go to hell! You will suffer a terrible fate for bullying an old woman like me!” Lady Wilson hung up the phone angrily as soon as she was done speaking. At this time, the cashier asked embarrassedly, “Madam, are you still paying the bill? If you are not going to pay the bill, please step out of the way first because other people are lining up behind you to pay their bills.” Lady Wilson replied angrily, “I am not paying anymore! My hands slid down to her waist, pulling her closer as our lips met again in a heated kiss.

"Did you hear that?" Everything happens quickly. We hear a series of gunshots outside. Shouts. They're getting closer. We don't even get enough time to react. The front door breaks in two as a group of men barge inside the house. Everyone grows still for a couple of seconds. A short, dark-haired man standing in front of the group says, "Kill anyone who isn't Damien Keller. The boss wants him alive."

“You can’t do that to me, Steven. You can’t!” I crawled closer, pleading. “Please, spare me this once. Please, don’t expose me.” Tears streamed down my face. “You’ll end me if you say anything. Please, keep it private.” He didn’t move. He didn’t speak. He just stood there, his back still to me. Then he said, “Do you want me to let this die down?” The words sounded like a miracle. I wiped my tears and nodded desperately. “Yes, please. I want this to die down. I’ll do anything. Just… spare me.”

A moment passed. Then Kane stepped forward. Gun to my chest. “This ends tonight,” he said. And I smiled. “Yes,” I whispered. “It does.”
