Geben Sie her.“ Bevor ich reagieren konnte, riss mir der Verkäufer die Krone aus den Händen und kratzte dabei fast meine Haut auf. Ich richtete mich auf und zwang mich zur Ruhe. „Schon mal was von ‚Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst‘ gehört? Ich habe sie zuerst gesehen. Ist das hier etwa üblich?“ Die Wölfin drehte sich langsam zu mir um und musterte mich mit einem langen, spöttischen Blick. „Diese Krone kostet 300.000 Euro. Bist du sicher, dass du dir das leisten kannst, Dorfmädchen? Ich bin mit dem Alpha des Silbermond-Rudels aufgewachsen, mit Falcon Sterling. Hier bestimme ich die Regeln.“ Ich starrte sie an und musste fast lachen. War das nicht lustig? Falcon war zufällig mein arrangierter Gefährte.
