He couldn’t comprehend her reaction. He guided her to a chair and made her sit down. “Here have some water.” He said handing the bottle he had brought along. When she didn’t react, he thrust the bottle into her hands. The cold metal bottle seemed to have brought her back to her senses. She opened the cap with trembling hands and chugged down the water. Some of it trickled down her throat.

Draco, who sat at the side, also felt that Dalton’s words were far-fetched. “Dalton, are you talking about the kind of enchantments depicted in fantasy movies? Does that sort of thing really exist in this world?” asked Draco.

Craft pushed a button for the top floor, and I held my breath. Him caressing his thumb along mine should have felt soothing, but I was anything but calm. Fantasy Night.
