Luka asked the Troll. “Where my king is headed there is a kingdom, a kingdom of fairies and...” before he could finish Luka had come to an abrupt stop. “What do you mean a kingdom of fairies?” when someone mentioned fairies the only thing on Luka’s mind were flowers and a sweet smell. “Yes, my king, there is a fairy kingdom up ahead, that is where the elder of comes from.”

There were many other types of fairies — nymphs, dryads, salamanders — all different with different types of magic, but all fairies. Fairies and Fae had all but disappeared from the realm about 20 years before, give or take, when King Tobias had ordered his wolves and witches to assassinate the Fae royals. The Fae king and queen had found out, and fought back, fighting against the wolf and the High Witch King until the very end, but they had ultimately died, and the fairies and Fae had vanished. Or, I guess, we thought they had vanished. Apparently, at least one had hidden in plain sight for about 19 years. Who is to say that there weren’t others out there just like June?

“What happened?” The queen shook her head slowly, her strength waning. “The Fogs Fairies... are angry...” she managed to utter before collapsing into the king’s arms. The king’s despair was palpable. Even if they tried to escape, navigating through the thick fog would drive them mad. The Fogs Fairies would surely keep them trapped here forever. Gritting his teeth, he turned to his four bodyguards. “Go and kill that girl! Perhaps her death will appease the fairies.”

I threatened the fairy queen as I picked up a rusty metal pipe I saw lying on the ground, I continued, "I won't hesitate to." The fairy queen smirked finally stepping out of the shadows revealing her pale complexion and sickly appearance from under the hood. She removed it parading her brilliant wings and enticing features. The fairy queen's face was covered with embellishments of sparkles and gold, her long ginger hair covered with flowers and such- it was truly magnificent. I heard it's their thing. The fairies can easily entice their prey into doing whatever they desire. I gritted my teeth and said to her, "Your trick won't work on me."

The Fairies were indeed born with natural charm magic. “Stop teasing him, Keefe. We've come for urgent business to handle," complained Edmund, who realized that Keefe was emitting an alluring scent from his body. The scent could entice a man or woman to submit and adore Keefe. The scent had a pheromone-like effect, making other creatures who breathe it adored and had a crush on the scent owner. It was one of the innate powers he had. Only the dragons were not affected by the fairy's alluring power.

Happily ever after is overrated. “No I’m not, Cinderella has a step-mother who is wicked and 2 step-sisters and I don’t have any. Besides, Cinderella’s life changed when she married her prince charming. My life is not like hers… it’s just messed up, fairy tales like that do not happen in this lifetime already.” I said as I laugh at the idea of it. He smiles and faces me with this uncertain expression on his face. “I am glad to see you laughing now. You seem to be so down and... you might be right, but will I- will we ever going to see you again?” he said.

I loved calling him a ‘hussy,’ a ‘she,’ just to see the fury in his eyes. But today was different. As the robed figures filed in, they unchained me from the ceiling, only to re-bind me on the floor, my limbs stretched into a taut X. The slutty skirt offered no protection, my core exposed and vulnerable to the chill air. Then he walked in. Morex. The King of the Faeries. The pervert whose mate was barren, a fact that prevented her from ascending the throne.

As I sat down, I noticed that the reserved seat next to me was for the Dragon King. I looked at Lumara next to me and asked her, “Is this a mistake? He was arranged next to me.” Lumara widened her eyes, “That must be the Chief’s arrangement.” “But why?” “Dragons and Fairies are at the top of the pyramid in the Immortal Realm. It’s only right that you’re seated next to each other.” I couldn’t help but winced. I abandoned my title as ‘Mrs Chent, Oliver’s wife’, but now I have to bear the weight of my present title as the Queen Fae.

Olivia jumped off and hauled Hestia to her feet. Raegan flew over Rabiah, dodging her fire, with talons stretching for the queen's face. Violet headed for Caiphas.
