AVA KILLIAN "I should have calmed. I should have... No." Ava panicked as she paced up and down her room. Jared just stood there, watching how pretty she looked. Even in her panicked state, she still exuded this allure that sent any man into a dreamlike trance. She was dangerously alluring. "I kicked the King. I kicked the Alpha King of the Realm. Do you know what that means, Jared?" "Execution, I’d be executed!” Ava’s weary voice broke out.

Ava quickly put on her sweetest smile and curtsied as they approached. The King looked at Ava with great satisfaction. "Ava, I am delighted that you are willing to be engaged to Wyatt. Thank you for your contributions to bringing peace and prosperity to both nations." Ava smiled sweetly, "It's an honor to become the Luna Queen of the Wolf Kingdom." The King's gaze shifted, realizing that Wyatt wasn't with Ava. He asked, "Why isn't Wyatt with you?"

" I yell angrily at her. She blinks at me in surprise and gulps in terror. I grab her shoulders and shake her. I realize I’m grasping too tightly when she winces. I let her go and step back, apologizing for my outburst. “Greetings, I am King Chester, Ava’s mate. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where the mate is.” She seems at ease as she says, “Your Majesty, my King.” My mate kidnapped your mate with the intention of forcing her to be his mistress. She’s currently being tortured in our pack’s secret place, and she’ll be brutally marked by my bastard cheating mate, Jerry."

I inhaled deeply, bracing myself for the impending situation. "Presenting His Majesty, Davis Blackthorn, King of the Rogues!" The announcement was heard over the commotion. I turned, still interested about her. And there she was. Adorned in diamonds and silk, Avy looked breathtaking. However, what really chilled my blood was the man standing next to her. The Rogue King, Davis Blackthorn. He put his arm lustfully around Avy's waist. I struggled to maintain a neutral expression as they drew near. I was driven by my inner wolf to seize what was rightfully ours. "Alpha-elect," Davis said with a tilt of his head.

King and Ebony have a different mum who they haven’t seen since they were babies, according to King. The sound of bikes makes me smile. I’ve not seen King in what feels like days, even though it’s only being hours. When he left, I was in one of his club t-shirts, nothing else as it was long enough to be a dress. I watch the guys climb off the bikes and stand talking for a bit before separating and walking off. My eyes watch as Avril instantly walks to King. She stops ahead of him, and he smiles at her. I push away my insecurities and focus on what I’m doing.
