Asher blinked a few times before realizing that they were successful. “KIR!” Asher screamed as he rushed over to his mate’s bloodied limp body on the ground. "STAY AWAY FROM HER!" Luca yells as he blocks my path to Kir. "Get the hell out of my way, you idiot! We don't have time for this, she's going to die!" Asher yelled at the idiotic male as he pushed him out of his way. Asher quickly shifted back into a human and cut his wrist open before pressing it up to Kir’s mouth, hoping that he made it in time.

Kirito slowly opened his eyes as sunlight fell gently on his eyelids. He looked at Vivian, sleeping beneath him, leaning on the glass door. He got up and rubbed his eyes. He felt the band-aid on his cheeks. He looked at her as the sunlight struck the window pane and lit up her hair. "So, you won't hate me, huh." He sat in front of her "Anyways," He pressed his arms on the glass window "Thank you for listening to me when no one else did."

The Alpha of Crystal pack stood with a young female on his side. “Great party, Alpha Dante,” he said. He smiled, trying to appear friendly, and touched my shoulder blade without my permission. Looking at his hand, I held myself from growling at him. I pushed his hand and took a step back before giving him a polite reply. “Thanks for coming, Alpha Cole. I hope you have a great night.” Cole’s smile broadened before he spoke again, “Absolutely. This is my daughter Kirana. We have trained her to be a Luna so—“

I quickly grab it. “Why haven’t you killed me yet? I know your secret.” I place the pack of pees against my head. “Listen, Crissy. You can’t tell anyone.” Austin takes a seat across from me. “Why would I do that? If I do that, you will probably kill me.” I remove the blanket. “Crissy, we are not planning on killing you. We are going to take a leap of faith and trust you.” Austin starts folding up the blanket.

She naively blinked at Tiberius. “No, Crista will not be returning to Nebrodi to lead us. She found her mate, Alpha Alec of Incubi. She is their Luna. But I’m here. We’re here.” Tiberius explained, reaching to hold my hand. “Katrina and I are going to take on the roles of Alpha and Luna here.”

“How did you get here?” “I should ask you the same thing. Does the Alpha, and his Luna know the types of things you and your bandits do?” I can feel Ashtons eyes on me now. Well, I guess I am going to have to explain it all before we can actually get to the heart of what he’s doing here right now. “For starters, Ashton here,” I point him out. “IS the Alpha. As for his Luna, you must have missed that part of the conversation. Alaina is Alpha Ashton’s mate.”

But for now, survival took precedence. As we began to discuss our next move, a sudden gust of wind swept through the battlefield, carrying with it a faint whisper—Asher’s voice. It sent a chill down my spine as his words echoed in my mind. “The prophecy was never about the packs. It was never about you, or Draven, or the Heart." I froze, my blood running cold as the whispers grew louder, more insistent. "The deity will awaken soon. You’ve only just begun to understand the true stakes. But you’re running out of time, Luna."

No one’s seen the Lunas or their daughters since the incident but my ex-mate’s been wandering around with his head held high ever since. Everyone was on edge I was just glad to be back in the laundry room where I did the washing and the sowing and no one could see me. Especially Alpha Knox. “Esme!” Kira stumbled into the laundry room and shut the door. She panted and gasped for air. I tossed the shirt I was mending. “Oh, my gosh were you almost caught?” I asked. She shook her head. “Everything’s fine. There’s just so many people here than usual.”

A whimper caught my attention, followed by crimson, smearing the walls around us. Dean lost two of his limbs in seconds. “Please,” he pleaded, but that only earned him a growl that not just affected him but me as well. He tried to speak once again, but it only came out as a subtle cry before his head was ripped off his neck. With a thud, his lifeless body landed to the side. “Are you okay?” Alpha Asher came to my side, not only his aura but his eyes shifted from midnight blue to mocha brown.
