Chapter 9 Caitlyn was standing beside her gate when Martin arrived in his car. She was wearing a black leather skirt that stopped way above her knees, a small white top that clung to her body, a black leather jacket, and a white shoe to match. Martin swallowed nothing as he stared at her. He was mesmerized by her beautiful face and body. He cleared his throat nervously, winded down, and poked his head out a little. "Get in!" He ordered her. She smiled and quickly rushed to enter the car.

Anna answered “Can you show me around the palace” Amira asked “As my lady wishes” Anna answered with a smile. She was so excited to see the environs. They got to a garden filled with different flowers and then the rose flower caught her. She loved the beautiful roses flowers that where arranged in a heart form. “Who tends to the flowers?” Amira asked “His majesty Prince Keon” she replied “He must be a sweet soul” Amira said “Prince Keon is such a humble and kind man, he has the heart of his people” Anna confessed

“Hurry, we have to get back.” “Don’t change the subject, Kendra,” I replied. She kept silent. “You’re not getting out of it that easy,” I said annoyed. Kendra paused and turned to face me. “Listen, Mia. I understand that you’re human and all, but man you ask a lot of questions,” She sighed. “I shouldn’t have said anything in the first place. I can’t go against the moon goddess. It is for Dane to tell.” I stared at her blankly. “I feel more confused the more you talk,” I exhaled.

Lilika and I had a common enemy and convenient enough, that woman was my only threat. "No need to worry about that," Lilika assured as she strolled around with a pan filled with water and headed to the cooker. "I've hired a private investigator to go look into her. By the way, her name is Alva Pierce. She grew up in the ghetto side of town. Attica to be precise. If someone like her was born there. We are bound to find something to rope her with. Trust me, Doria, she is merely a pesky fly that will get swabbed sooner than later."

“Yellow suits you, Kirsten. You look absolutely stunning.” Kirsten rolled her eyes with a laugh. “I used to hate yellow, can you believe that? Couldn’t stand it. Then I got pregnant and suddenly it’s like I turned into a walking highlighter. Now I’m obsessed with bright colors to the point that my whole closet looks like a pack of Skittles exploded in there. Hot pink, fire-engine red, sunshine yellow—you name it. I practically need sunglasses just to get dressed in the morning. Anyway!” She grinned, waving a hand. “How are you? Nelly told me you’re going to miss Tau’s concert. What happened?”

She growled in frustration. "I did." La'Shia turned towards the voice. A tall black woman with a large head of hair and a broad smile with a slight gap between her front two teeth stepped forward out of the shadows. She had a very high-end DSLR camera in her hand. She shifted it to her left as she held out her right. "Naomi Klassen. Culture Couture Critic. I captured both dances in high definition. Perhaps we can work out an arrangement for the video." She beamed her smile at the two ladies who glanced hungrily at the camera. She was sure they'd find something she wanted.

I was about talking when Anita came over. "Hmm...What's going on here?" she asked Lexy putting her hand on lexy's shoulder. "Kelsi here is the daughter of our maid that was sent out of the house last month...." Lexy replied her, looking at me with disgust, "....
