"Lancelot, his beloved Gamma," Cornelius answered, still looking at Amelia. He was expecting to see a reaction from her face but there was nothing and her heartbeat didn't increase upon hearing Lance's name. 'Hmmm, interesting,' Cornelius thought to himself. Raising her eyes up to look at him, she asked, "When do we leave?"

Rhys felt this was his cue to take it up a notch and snap her out before she got into another bout of crying. “Well then, I’ll be your knight in shining armor." He said it softly. He could feel her heart rate go down and her mood soften. "Okay, Prince Arthur, are you ready to go face the dragon with me?” “I’m going to ride with you, even till the end of the world. I would prefer to be Lancelot, though; he was cuter.” She chuckled. “Maybe I should be Gwen; I hope your sword is long and strong.” “Yes, it is strong, long, sharp, and shining, piercing through whatever it comes into contact with.”

Alexander let out another heavy sigh and buried his face in his hands, finally realizing the mistake in his actions. What had he done? What had he done?! Guinevere had always been fiercely protective of herself - her honour, her innocence, and her family's name - and he had betrayed all that by touching her. How was he any different from Carlisle, who had defiled Lady Carlisle before their marriage? Prince Authur hissed through his teeth while glaring at the knight standing in front of him with his head bowed. “My prince, this is the first time I'm hearing about this ritual, but, I remember hearing the king's man say the king already had everything sorted out, I don't think we have anything to worry about.” Lancelot's words didn't help calm Authur one bit instead the uneasy feeling the young prince was previously feeling greatly intensified.
