Aurora‘a POV: Klaus leaned close to me like a child straining for attention as he struggled to eavesdrop. I couldn’t keep my smile at bay as I brought my phone to my ear, and with a lift in my mood, I muttered ; “Hello?” “Hello daughter,” my father greeted back, and as soon as Klaus heard that, he stumbled away from me with wide eyes.
