“The knight beat that dragon up, huh, zio?” I nodded, patting his hand while trying not to laugh. “Settle down, Spar. You will wake the entire castle.” I chuckled, beaming at him. I loved his energetic personality, but sometimes he could be crazy. “Yes, the brave knight killed the dragon and ran up to the top of the tower to rescue the princess. However, there was a magic spell on her door. The young princess could only be saved from the tower by a powerful king, and the man was only a simple knight. He had to leave her behind until he could find a way to become king.” My voice lowered in sadness, feeling a single tear slide down my cheek.

She outsmarts all the other Knights in the several competitions set by the wicked queen and comes out victorious. The prince then takes a liking to her. They get married against the wicked queen’s wishes and she becomes a princess and saves her family from famine.

Elaine's POV Contrary to what the world we called reality, I expected all those girls' childish stories to be like fantasies and fairytales my mom kept storytelling me every night before heading to bed.
