"Why aren't you here yet? All the pack members and Elders are waiting for you." As I stared at the screen, my lips curled into a mocking smile. I didn't bother responding to him. Instead, I just blocked him and the other members of the Silvermoon pack. What he didn't know was that just half a month earlier, I agreed to be the mate of Lucas Knight, the Alpha of the most powerful pack in the North—the Nightblood pack. Soon after the plane landed in the North, I would be marked by him and become his Luna. … "Lucas, my wolf is ready," I said as I stood in front of the mirror.

“I thank all of you for both your time today and your support over the years past and years to come.” Claps roared out as Emrys finished his speech, the orchestra beginning their soft notes that carried the new found happiness of my new pack, my new home, and I couldn’t help but shed a tear or two when this warm feeling of belonging bloomed within my chest; right when Emrys was crowned, I too was brought out and introduced as Emrys’ mate and the new Luna of Knights.

As he thought of this, he quickly walked to Merlin and single-handedly grabbed Merlin’s neck, lifting him halfway into the air with lightning speed as he said coldly, “You don't understand Reiki, and you’re not a martial artist. How do you know the name Vera Lavor? Tell me, who told you about this name?!” Merlin, who was being choked by the neck, soon turned black and blue, but he endured the pain and sneered at Mr. Chardon as he said disdainfully, “Kill… Kill me if you have the guts to do so!” Mr. Chardon said coldly, “Do you think that I don’t dare to do so?” Merlin sneered and clenched his teeth as he said, “Try it, then! Let’s see if you dare to do so!”

Raven groveled on Knight's back as they dashed toward the forest. He was stunned when Knight shifted right in his room -- it was the most beautiful and magnificent white beast he had ever seen. He heard the doorknob shake when Knight jumped out of the window with him on his back. Though still had a million doubts about the rogue, Raven couldn't help but started chewing Knight's words-- "There is a traitor in your pack".

That night, Merlin couldn't do anything and accepted Klaus and cried. In the morning, when Klaus woke up, he took Merlin again and had fun with her. Merlin's soul was already crushed, and she looked like a living doll. After losing their child and some of her powers, she started drowning in darkness. The last night events were the last straw, and now Merlin is completely swimming in her darkness.

The Dragon Council was still active, but now we had one for every type of species. The leader of each species set up the new council, to make sure everyone was on the same page. Each country had its own council as well, but Cyran had to be a part of them all. Mostly because their kind was spread across the world. The only species that haven’t revealed themselves to the world were Mer-people. It was mostly because for centuries they have been hunted by humans and treated as science projects. Since everyone understood their fear of humans, we made sure the humans didn’t learn about them until they were ready.

“Are you a knight?” The innkeeper cast a glance over his shoulder at the gathered menfolk, who were all keenly following the conversation. I was glad I was not the only person to think he looked like one. “A mage,” Rivyn sat back on his chair. “Though I have competently wielded a sword on occasion,” he added in such a way that I knew with certainty that he was as much a knight as he was a mage, despite his demurring. The innkeeper agreed with me, his expression avid. “A mage knight,” he said. “That’s exactly what we need to kill this dragon.”

Even his laugh was malicious. “Wicked!!!” Silver said. “I'm not wicked, I'm Merlin, hi-hi-hi, a potion master and a headmaster, hi-hi-hi.” “So old man—” “I'm not old, hi-hi-hi,” Merlin snapped. “On the contrary, I'm 210 years or more. I forget. See how young I'm, hi-hi-hi.” Merlin replied with his left hand on his chest. Silver decided it was best to ignore Merlin. He looked around the market area. There were not many people here, but those who were here had stars in there eyes. Not many people dabbled in the arts of potions.

When Ronan pulled his lips away from his he said to him, "Adrian, my love, demons have a highly developed sense of smell and each person has a different scent which allows us to recognize them and track them over a long distance if necessary. There is a legend that says that every demon has a mermaid somewhere, a person who would have a smell so powerful that it would make you lose your mind. I never believed it before, how the smell of a person could intoxicate you to the point of losing your mind, but after meeting you I finally understood."
