Bound By Magic And Moonlight
My sneakers are a must, the terrain will be uneven, and I’m not about to twist an ankle for the sake of aesthetic.
I lay the outfit out neatly on my bed and move to my dresser, pulling out a matching bra and a pair of cotton briefs. I dress quickly, the skirt swaying around my calves as I smooth the fabric down. Then I move to my vanity and begin braiding my hair back, tight at the crown, looser as it weaves down, with two strands pulled forward to frame my face just right.
I slip on a touch of lip balm, nothing else. The forest doesn’t care if I wear mascara.
