"How dare you speak to me like that, Menelik! I am the Lion King, and you will show me the respect I deserve." "Yeah, you are. The Lion King, huh? But you seem to forget that I made you, without me you're nothing, and destroying you, will not cost me a dime. So be careful, when choosing your next words. Well, that's just a piece of advice. I mean, look around you, this is my world, and you're just living in it. You might be sitting at the head of the table, but I am the head of your table." Menelik leaned back, with a small smirk displaying across his face. He remained calm, even in the face of Zora's angered countenance.

"Two kings are already enough for our queen." "Make sure you tie a leash on him," I reply to him. Trenton chuckles, "As you know, Arthur..." He pauses as he looks at me. "Take care of Kofi. You guys don't know how many lions are waiting to steal him from you." He mysteriously whispers it to my ears. My nose wrinkles as I absorb what he just said.

I guess she wasn't on the best of terms with either of her parents. "He's close," King Jon said with certainty after more long minutes of silence. Everyone stiffened in anticipation. "How do you know?" Mom asked quietly. "I can hear him coming," the Lycan King said. Lycans have more acute senses than werewolves, so it made sense. I started to say something, but a deep, chilling growl coming from the woods cut me off. "Was that him?" Mira asked in a small voice. At that moment, we heard a shout of surprise, another growl, then a long, bloodcurdling shriek that seemed to go on for ages.

"Marriage? You mean..." "Yes," Alisha replied firmly, "I propose that we get married. In doing so, you will not only gain access to R-Plan information, but also merge my father's company, becoming the undisputed leader of the tech industry. And I, Black nodded and raised his glass. "For our... alliance." Alicia also raised her glass and lightly touched her glass with Black's. "For the alliance." Just then, the door to the restaurant was suddenly pushed open. A burly bodyguard rushed in and whispered something in Black's ear. Black's expression instantly turned serious.

"Holy motherfucking fucker," Cronus froze as he stepped in through the door with Beloca and saw the sight behind those silver, metal bars. "What the fuck," Beloca watched, fascinated, "A lion. I've never seen a lion that big in my entire life." "A cougar, you dumbass. The King-Cougar..." Cronus whispered its name as if he was scared that the animal would wake if he called too loud. He almost choked on his fear.

And if I set my eyes on any of them after now, I shall kill and feed on their flesh and blood," the king said. Turning to his warriors he said, "Two strengths of the jungle, two speed of the jungle, two weight of the jungle and two height of the jungle, take the vulture, the betrayal of the jungle, and the Indescribable beast, the Mystery of the jungle to the kingdom abattoir, kill and make them meat for the people to eat away their sorrow and the agony of the past. Also, I want two lions, two cheetahs, two elephants, two giraffes, and this time, two flying birds to escort the vultures out of the pride land to the wasteland. Henceforth, the warriors will take turns to keep watch over the pri

The classical male wolves from noble families in their rich tuxedos, the 1960s musicians who were always there to entertain, and the elders in their roped-up attire—all here for the celebration. Noah was to be installed as the Alpha of the pack today, and surprisingly the moon goddess had chosen to do it along with the annual mating ceremony. I didn’t doubt our love; I knew the moon goddess would look into my struggles and provide me with the mate bond I was searching for so earnestly. I put on the new gown I had gotten, running towards the mating hall with a smile on my face. I leaped upon reaching the stairs, trying to make the perfect entrance.

"You want revenge on your pack? I'll help you get it. I'll give you the power, the resources, everything you need to make them suffer." "What do you want in return?" His smile turned sharp. Dangerous. "You. Completely. You accept this bond, you become my Luna, you stand at my side—and I will burn down anyone who hurt you." I should have thought about it or even asked questions. I should have been smart but I was done with all that bullshit. I'd had enough. "Deal," I said. His hand moved from my chin to the back of my neck. He pulled me closer. "Then welcome to your second chance, little mate," he said. "Let's see how much damage we can do together."

Vance walks out towards the lion, ready to shift and attack. “Son, you won’t be able to get near him,” Victor warned, remaining vigilant. The lion remained stagnant, curling its tail like a snake, and watching the man who was approaching him. Lions hated wolves just as wolves despised them. Vance stops a few feet away from the lion who flops his rear to the ground. In the interim, I decided to go upstairs and check on Valen. It was unbelievable that Rionna had set up a magnificent kiddie's room for her grandson. I took him out of the crib and held him as he slept. I would rather have him in my arms until this lion was captured.

Her whole body was jerking and eyes were repeatedly blinking while moving to one side and looking upward. Hunter just stood there watching her. He looked at her mother who had cried her lungs out. “Help her,” Evan said breathing heavily. Hunter didn’t know what to do. “The Lioness has been secluded from its cubs. The den is now weak, more especially with the death of a successor. The wounded lion cannot do anything. The other two cubs are weak to do anything,” Naveen laughed talking with Mr. Jackson from Bank of Zambia while at Radisson Blu Hotel.
