I don't even know what I'm doing at this point but I'm so damn curious about who this woman is and it's killing me. I slide my finger on the iPad and through the G****e results until one photo appears and the corner of my lips lifts up. There you are. There's a picture of her in her motorcycle and Keith's words replay in my mind. I haven't even met her yet I can recognize her. Looking at the iPad's screen, I find myself too immersed in this. Her hair is long and black, bringing out her blue eyes. She looks unique and exotic, perhaps that's why people recognize her easily.

“She was a kidnapper, a thief, someone truly evil. We couldn’t bear for our daughter to carry that kind of name.” The audience laughed lightly. “That’s thoughtful,” someone said off-camera. Kristen’s hand slowly clenched around the side of her laptop. And slammed it closed… She snapped it shut with such force that it echoed across the room. The device slid from her desk, crashed onto the floor, and shattered into pieces. Her chest rose and fell sharply. The rage in her eyes was unbearable. Inside, her blood burned at its highest temperature. Meanwhile, in California, Lena still stood behind the cameras, giving her final speech of the day.

Kristen wrapped her hand around my neck and said, "come on that is what life is said to be... we need to keep on tackling every problem with a smiling cheer up..." Kristen is really so warm hearted. Her company really did ease my heart.

“You’re not taking another step toward her. Speak your lies from the other side of that door or not at all.” Finally, the stranger shifted his gaze to Kristen, and the smirk returned, edged with challenge. “Protect her all you like, Alpha. It won’t change the truth written in her blood.” Kristen stiffened, his body coiling like a spring about to snap. “And what truth is that?” The stranger’s eyes flicked back to me, softer now, almost reverent. “She’s Kin.” The word hung heavy in the air, foreign yet familiar, as if my bones recognized it even if my mind did not. Besides he said the exact same thing the last time. My lips parted, a whisper escaping before I could stop it. “Kin?”

“Don’t be afraid. If you answer my questions willingly, I’ll see to it that you leave here unharmed. Now, what is your name?” “Kirsten.” She swallowed, looking everywhere but his eyes. “Where are you from, Kirsten?” Will leaned forward in his chair, eyeing her cooly as she shrunk back. “Cambridge.” She mumbled, intimidated by Will’s large form edging closer to her. “Tell me, Kirsten, you look like a decent young lady; what made you join a movement intent on killing innocent people?” Will’s eyes narrowed dangerously and he bit back a smirk when he saw her shiver.

She couldn’t just sit here, waiting for the worst. “Wait,” she said, her voice catching. “There’s… there’s something else I need to tell you.” Peterson turned back, his expression curious. “What is it?” Kristien took a deep breath, before speaking the words that had been haunting her for years. Something she never told neither her husband nor her kids. Only her grandmother knew. “I did it,” she said, her voice trembling with emotion. “I killed Mr. Winston. And I kidnapped Beatrix. But it wasn’t only because I wanted power. It was… It was because of what he did to me.”

In the center of the top there was a little pink bunny shouting, "Sleepy Time!" Kristen reached down for the hem of her shirt and pulled it off in one big flourish. She was wearing a bra, of course, a baby-chick yellow one. The material was thick, too, so there really wasn't much to see except her bellybutton and maybe a bit of the tops of her boobs. I'd seen formal dresses that showed more titty. I now knew her chest was as freckly as her face. That was pretty hot. Just by the bra, I could tell Kristen was a D-cup.

she asked, keeping her voice even despite the storm brewing inside her. Daniel smirked, shoving his hands into his pockets. “Just checking in. I heard you married Lucas Moretti. Quite the upgrade from me, don’t you think?” He chuckled, shaking his head. “Tell me, Kristin, does he know the real you?” Kristin felt anger rise in her chest. “Get out.” Evelyn sighed dramatically, shaking her head. “Such hostility. Is that any way to treat family?” “You are not my family,” Kristin shot back without hesitation.

Mira asked in surprise. Dylan nodded. "Actually, I just found out. I helped him find his wife. I was also surprised to learn that your friend is married to your brother." "K-Kristen? Where is she?" Mira asked worriedly. Dylan immediately pointed to where Kristen was, and Mira went to her. She found Kristen sitting on the bed, seemingly lost in thought. She approached her and asked, "Kristen, are you okay?" Kristen remained silent, not responding. Unbeknownst to Mira, Kristen was currently battling conflicting thoughts and didn't know what to think anymore.

I didn’t know where they were headed but I did not like it already. “Your Highness,” Elder Sabyni said, her sharp green eyes fixed on me-eyes like my mother’s. “there have been whispers about the woman staying in the castle. They say she is isolated in the room in the darkest wing of the castle, the room that belonged to the royal witch of Northwood years ago,” she paused, eyeing me, allowing her words to settle in so she could gage my reaction. I gave her none.
