I didn’t know how to respond. I hated how Kyle could always twist things, make everything seem so black and white. Like nothing mattered but the endgame. And why did he think I wanted to change that psycho? He could remain as he was for all I care as long as his psychotic tendencies did not bother me. “You have no idea,” I muttered, stepping closer, fists clenched.

I watched the other members. I saw Kyle, wearing an earpods, with his eyes closed. Let me tell you something about Kyle. He's the best leader of all. Good in english speaking, genius, kind hearted man. He's a total package. A husband and a boyfriend material. If he's a girl? I would probably date him, but no, he's meant to be a Kyle Kim, to be part of the M7. I shifted my gaze to Cody, he looks cold and unbothered, but he has a soft heart. He's cool, the best rapper. I also turned to Nathan, who's peacefully sleeping like a prince.

I was amazed. This little bunny can be feisty. She stood dauntlessly staring into Kyle's eyes. If only she knew how scary and brutal that young man is whenever he's in his wolf form. His bubbly nature is one of the reasons he lacks putting that bold expression to scare someone away except he's in his wolf form. “You are so bold, you walked into the…" I couldn't let Kyle complete his sentence as I interrupted him.

“Sometimes, I feel like you are hiding something from us, Hera” Kyle is a type of guy who wouldn’t speak without thinking about the words he will say. In fact, every time a word came out of his mouth, those words are picked wisely. That is one of the many things why people admire him. He care for others, Indeed he is a nice guy. Although sometimes, people don’t like ones kindness. As they feel like they are some useless and hopeless person.

I ask playfully. He shoots me a sideways glance. “Guess you’ll have to wait and see, princess.” A smirk tugs at his lips. I’m starting to learn that there are a few different versions of Brock. There’s this one- my personal favorite. The one that’s sarcastic and snarky. The one who likes to play and laugh. Then there’s the broody guy that shuts down. The intense one. The one who is so crippled by his past that he can’t move into the future. And then there’s the one that’s completely devoid of emotion, like a goddamn robot. All business all the time. That last one scares me a little. He’s hard and ruthless- I feel like he could watch the life drain from someone’s eyes without flinching.

What if he tries to kill her. I sprout up from the bench and start pacing the tiny shallow room. Kyle is a very rugged and vicious person from his behavioral pattern, I have grasped that about him. For sure he is going to do what he has said he would and I Will do mine too. I just wish the police can see through his lies. The son of a bitch has a nice plan but I promise him that there is no way at all he is winning.

“I am the kind of person you used to despise. And now, you are the same as me. Isn’t that funny?” Kyle looked menacingly at her. “No, Antonette, we are different. We will never be the same. I care about people, and I protect them. But you, you are utterly selfish you; only care about yourself.”

She could never date a guy like Cutter even if he wasn’t caught up in some secret world—or crazy for thinking he was. Kyle, on the other hand, seemed so down to earth. Though she’d only spoken to him once, their conversation had been easy and completely unforced. Unlike Cutter, he didn’t want anything out of her, didn’t want her to be something she could never be. Then he left, casually heading up to his room, leaving me behind, reeling and wondering what this new game was all about. I slumped back into my chair, my thoughts swirling with a mix of anger, apprehension, and curiosity. What could he possibly gain from this fake generosity?
