Kyle blocked the blow with a shield, then leaned back and kicked Caleb in the gut, knocking him back. Kyle came in for another blow with his axe, but Caleb anticipated it; he leapt over it, high in the air, and kicked Kyle in the chest, knocking him back. Now, Caleb had the upper hand.

Too bad he wasn’t going to get any of that tonight. I waited for him to attack, and when he did, I was surprised by how quick and skilled he was for a big guy. I dodged all his strikes while landing a few hits of my own, which only fueled his rage. Thirty minutes into the fight, I glanced at Kyle, who was watching by the cage with a concerned expression.
