I walked over to the door and tried the doorknob, it was locked. My eyes ran over the room, there was no window or anything that could let me out. I spotted something that resembled a metallic door handle, it was hidden by the huge pile of boxes that were stacked at the other end of the room. I watched as a rat hurried through the pile of boxes and buried its head through a hole. Without wasting any more time, I pushed down the boxes careful not to make too much noise that would attract Beta Orion or Alpha Elvis. I was right, there was a door behind those boxes, I turned the doorknob and it twisted open, and I gasped. They hadn't bothered to check, their carelessness just saved my ass.

“You carry yourself like one.” The reader flashed green. The lock thumped. Cold air breathed from within. The room beyond wasn’t a greenhouse. It was a lab—improvised from a service bay, sure, but undeniable: stainless benches, incubators humming, a bank of capped tubes under fume hoods, a wall map of the city pinned with thread-lines that converged like veins on The Rocks and Barangaroo. On a rolling trolley sat three red specimen boxes—biohazard stripe, government seal—one stamped with a single word:

They twitched gently when they noticed the intruder's scent. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a plush rabbit, which was fleeing in panic from the unknown and the loud noises and was just hopping around the corner.

Lim invited them to talk more outside but there was a sudden alarm making his employees head out for evacuation. “What’s going on? What’s that alarm about?” Mira faked her panic. “I think something leaks in the research laboratory.” He said and guided Mira and Angel out of the office but the thick disinfectant around the entire facility was causing them hard to see. Hard to see the doctor.

He entered the biggest room quietly and pressed something that may cause noise or sound so the zombies will follow him when he gets inside of it. The room was messy and dirty, it looks like a stock room, there are spider webs, ants and different insects living there for years, signs that the laboratory was abandoned for many years.
