The Black Alder Series

The Black Alder Series

Some of the servants hand us all plastic silver trays with 4 glasses of what I assume is sparkly wine, and we go into the room where the ball is being hosted. This bathroom is stunning. There are 3 huge chandeliers on the ceiling. The walls are white, and tan and the floors are a tan marble color. There are white-decorated tables towards the back which some people are sitting at. Others are gathered everywhere else dancing or talking. The color of the room and tables suddenly shifted to black, white, and gold. It is amazing. It keeps changing themes. Must be a witch they have. I put one hand behind my back and walked around, trying to avoid bumping into anyone. I saw King Damon's eyes follow

Blood Thirsty Luna

Blood Thirsty Luna

It was hard to stay focused with him, looking like sex on a stick. “I’m so glad to finally be able to use this addition. With the weather, I added a huge ballroom for events like this. This party will be the first one here!” Lilith waited to go down the grand staircase until we had caught up. “It is around the back, so we will have to walk across the way.” “That’s fine. Lead the way.” I said, unsure why she needed to announce that. Rook nodded and proceeded down the stairs. Luca pushed me after them so we became second. As soon as we were in the view of the foyer, I realized why she mentioned that. People were everywhere. This was going to be a maze.

The Two Alpha and Me

The Two Alpha and Me

It would do her good to put her useless pining to bed, bury her childhood love deep and never revisit it. She felt greatly calmed and she forced herself out of her thoughts, looking around the ballroom for the first time, taking in the decadent decor. The ballroom had a high vaulted ceiling held up by massive Corinthian pillars. Ammy craned her head, following a pillar near her up and gasped at the beautiful mural on the ceiling, depicting a lush meadow filled with all sorts of magical creatures, frolicking and dancing.

Mated To My Promised Alpha

Mated To My Promised Alpha

“All in good time. Now come, we need to greet our guests,” The ballroom itself is stunning huge pillars made of marble that radiate the moon’s energy, giving an ethereal glow over the entire place. I never realised there were countless shades of white and silver. Hundreds of versions spin as people dance together, their bodies moving across the dance floor like shooting stars. Drinks are served to those who are huddled around the dancefloor, gossiping amongst each other. Silence falls as we enter with everyone bending the knee to Selene and I. This is her kingdom after all.

My Secret, My Bully, My Mates. Series

I can hear someone make the announcement of our arrival and then the doors are opened and we parade in. The ballroom has been transformed since lunch. The round table have been moved to the perimeter of the room to allow for a large area in the middle for dancing and mingling. The massive chandelier in the center of the ceiling is lit dimly giving off a soft warm glow. The crystal sconces along the wall are at the same brightness. It’s just enough to see and be seen, but not as bright as during the day.

this is one of the best novels that I have read. yes there were typos and a few blurbs but even with that and a proper publisher it would be an outstanding buy for my bookshelf. I would recommend this to anyone. my mind was so connected to the characters that I cried a couple times too many, lol.

The Vampire's Opal

The Vampire's Opal

“Yeah. I came a few times as a kid to watch the training they hosted a few times. Don’t worry, I won’t let you get lost here.” He grabbed her hand, tucked it into his elbow, and escorted her through the maze of windows and hallways. No matter where she looked, all Claire noticed was the mountain range outside and the obscene amount of people running around like crazy. They stepped into a marble-floored ballroom where they contained most of the chaos, if you could call it that. Lengths of white silk and satin were streaming from a glass and pearl chandelier in the center of the at least 18 foot tall ceiling. Silk, accented with teal, covered the circular tables strategically positioned around

Plus-Sized Assassin

Plus-Sized Assassin

As frustrating as it seemed, Barbara recognized it as fate’s own twisted sense of humor… one she tried her best not to be offended by. An A-grade string quartet sat at the top balcony, playing a delicate and mournful number, probably mourning all the lives that had been lost to the deadly disease. The grand staircase that led to them had been so graciously designed… in fact, the whole ballroom, really, had all been made up to matchless perfection. Barbara paused at the threshold to the ballroom, her breath fogging the air before her, her mind asking her for the millionth time over if she could do this.

 LOVE OF TWO ERAS

LOVE OF TWO ERAS

Laura didn't want to embarrass them either, so she followed suit. Laura had heard that this place was fully equipped, but she did not expect that only one ballroom would be so luxurious, the ballroom was half outdoor and half indoor. The indoor dance floor is paved with the most fashionable type, surrounded by a ten-inch-thick frosted glass dance floor, under which is fitted with colored light bulbs, when turned on, it will be blinding. The open-air ballroom was surrounded by flower pots, because it was winter, camellias, orchids, and poinsettias were gradually placed.

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

Lyra, His Second Chance Mate

“After you, my Prince.” The royal ball was to be held in the grand ballroom of the castle, a vast and elegant space adorned with gold and crystal chandeliers that seemed to shimmer like stars. The walls were draped in velvet curtains, deep blue and rich gold. At the center of the room stood a polished marble floor, reflecting the light from the chandeliers above, which gave the space an ethereal glow. The ballroom was enormous, large enough to hold the Kingdom’s most influential members, as well as dignitaries from neighboring lands.

The Vision She Hid

The Vision She Hid

The hinges creaked in protest—maybe they, too, were tired of this charade. The ballroom was empty, too quiet, and newly done. The slight scent of wood and fresh paint still lingered. The floor was waxed to a high shine, begging for something expensive to shatter across it. Gold-framed mirrors lined the far wall like watchful witnesses. An amplifier sat in the corner, purring low jazz like a cat in a sunny spot. I stepped in, blind girl shuffle on full display. Three steps, pause, hand out, feel for danger. In truth, I was scanning that state of the art ballet studio for viable escape routes.
