He had promise, but lacked the ability to shut up. Another warrior hit him in the back of the head. “Actually, yes, that was me. I didn’t intend to do that but live and learn, I guess.” “Sorry Luna…Alpha.” He muttered as he rubbed the back of his head. “It’s okay. Anyway, Adron, my uncle, is trying to get me on his side. Jet and I have been given a task to destroy Adron. All you need to know right now is that I am actually a goddess and my purpose on Earth is to kill Adron.”

"No loner can survive these islands. It is plagued with cannibals, Pirates from the near seas and rogue wolves. The moon goddess must have her eyes on you for you to have come this far" I looked at her, food stuffed in my mouth, not knowing what to say or how to respond. "We are merchants delivering goods to BloodHowl Kingdom. We will drop you off there and go back to our lands. I heard their Lycan King is fierce, but generous. He might just let you stay" I nodded my head and she let me get some sleep. I laid down, completely exhausted, dreaming about meeting the Lycan King. But in my dreams, when he turns to me, he tells me to leave his presence, and I am dragged away by guards to the deepe

"I think I know what she is, Thorne." The room shifts, the noise around us fading into the background. "Go on." He hesitates again, glancing around the room as if checking for eavesdroppers. Finally, he leans closer, lowering his voice even further. "The Eidolon." Whatever I thought was going to come out of his mouth, it wasn't that. "The Eidolon are a myth." I dismiss his ridiculousness. "Were a myth," Logan corrects, his tone heavy with implication. "Until now."

She would do anything to end Iokaste’s spirit’s journey. When Mother told me things were changing, I didn’t know that meant the vessel would be blood siblings with Bronx. He has been Iokaste’s mate for over eight hundred years. Now he will be uncle to Katherine’s mate? I can’t imagine she will take that news well. Why would Mother take such a chance? “My fate is to be mated to Katherine, Luna of the Menae. My mission is to tame her so her sisters can live in tranquility.” “The Menae are a myth.” He looks at me suspiciously. “And how could you be mated to a mythical Luna if you’re my mate? I’m not a fool, Justice.”

He flew backward due to the Supremusse Sword’s power. “You…” After Ladon’s physical body was destroyed, his spirit was sent out of the Arena World. Then, a furious roar sounded. Ladon wanted to say something, but before he could finish speaking, he was sent out of the Arena World. “Nothing is too deceitful in war.” James smiled.

He made sure to beat her in front of me, using her as an example to keep me in line, forcing me to suppress my abilities. “Who fired?!” General Olsen demands, rage and fear are present in his eyes as he turns to his men. “Your people have no idea what they’re getting themselves into, I’m sure Dagon came to your government as a concerned man, but he’s not. Dagon is a lycan, and was king before he was stripped of his animal and cursed by the Moon Goddess." I pause and shake my head, feeling beyond angry I have to explain this.

Lyra's POV Rune was all over the place with laughter. The pulsing light from his grimoire was not helping matters. “Alright then,” I said, pouting, “what's the story?” He cleared his throat like he had been waiting for a chance to tell this story. “Allow me,” he said. “In the ancient land of Arcadia, there ruled a king named Lycaon, a man renowned for his cruelty and brutality.” He paused to see my reactions, I felt stupid as he told his tale.

River added. My father stepped into the room, a distorted look on his face. "According to legend, five gods, all like brothers, claimed our world. Dietus killed two of them, pushing one into purgatory and the other beyond death to rule over, and the last two separated, forming their own alliance against him. Njord claimed the seas, and Sol the sun and moon. Dietus was left to rule the lands, and, well, we know his ex-wife Lupa locked him away and started her own species, us."

Just then a woman with a tear-stained face walked up to us. She saw Queen Eden and fell at her feet. "I am so sorry!" Queen Eden helped her stand and said, "Belinda, you have nothing to be sorry for. Ladon knows he did the wrong thing by trying to fly without having his dragon yet. He also knows how badly you've been hurting since he left. He wants all of you to know that he is happy here. He can now fly safely because he has wings. Just know that he will come to you in your dreams, once in a while, to check on you. He wants his mother to stop feeling guilty and raise his brother and sister to be good dragons. He will help you too." I said, "Queen Eden, I know you don't do this often, but do
