The Luna Stone

The Luna Stone

I was scared at first but remembered I had to be strong to face it. The grasses were neatly trimmed, arranged and designed in a special way that was so strange to me, giving the field a special look. It was looking all beautiful but bizarre. Out of the ordinary! A strange, heavy fire was burning like a furnace, with a cauldron painted with black, red, and white, placed over it. I watched carefully and I saw a heap of thorns placed over the pot, with a ponderous steam oozing out. I guess there was a generous amount of water in the pot.

he lifts his head, now I at least have his attention. "Blaze. Saber. Rex. Raven. Gunner. Shadow. Mocha. Kong. Ammo. Butch. Coyote. Deadpool. Dynamo. Snowball. Tiger. Oh, Cobra, then you and Python can be matching," I laugh to myself, but the wolf doesn't look impressed. Python as well. "Oh come on. Please get me something to work with," my throat is becoming dry saying all the names. "So far, the only response I got out of you was Alpha. What has that got to do with anything? 'Cause you don't understand English," it feels like I'm going to cry. This wolf is not satisfied with anything.

Domi handed the artifact back to Abbie. "Press it, nothing will happen. Well, nothing bad. Promise." She hesitated a second but did. Then a bright light came out of the front part of the unknown object. "It's called a lantern. And I would have given to you only the knife, the lantern, and the matches, but since R is overprotective... If you can walk and run comfortably, then it's ok." "What's up with this guy, helping now? I can't understand him. Maybe Myron talked some sense into him? Yet, he's still a petulant unmannered idiot.

MAB DE NARRA
Everything is so vivid and real. The story progression is very smooth and easy. I feel this is probably one of the most relaxing but interesting reads I have had so far on Good Novels! Great job author! :)

I like how the descriptions really make you see the characters, where they are, and what they're going through. And the pacing is just great. Now I'm curious as to what lies beyond the mirror for Belle... :3

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

THE MANOR OF WINTER SECRETS

When Elara, Lyra, and the goddess drifted near his position, he didn’t move forward; he simply offered a small, deeply respectful nod—not a demand, not a claim of ownership, but a quiet acknowledgment of their sovereignty. As the midnight hour approached, the festival’s central bonfire roared higher into the dark sky, throwing brilliant sparks upward like newborn stars. Guests began releasing small paper lanterns into the freezing air, their inner flames colored by the intent of those who held them—gold for hope, silver for healing, and crimson for strength. Together, Elara, Lyra, and the goddess held a single lantern aloft. Their fingers brushed in a silent a

Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha

Blood Moon: Claimed by the Mafia Alpha

“I guess turning back isn’t an option anymore.” Dante shot him a sideways glance. “Were you planning to?” “I was considering it.” “Liar.” “I was considering considering it.” Despite the tension, a few guardians chuckled. The laughter was brief. It disappeared the moment the hallway lit itself. One by one, ancient lanterns suspended high above them awakened without flame. Instead of fire, each lantern contained a floating sphere of silver light that pulsed gently like a heartbeat. The enormous corridor stretched endlessly into the distance. Its ceiling was so high that it disappeared into darkness.

Forced To Bear The Alpha's Son

Forced To Bear The Alpha's Son

Miriam looked over one of the pages while Sasha leaned over the counter, tapping her pen repeatedly against the paper. “We also need to order more floating lanterns this year,” Sasha said seriously. “Last year there weren’t enough and half the younger wolves started fighting over the extras.” Miriam nodded immediately as she scribbled down the note. “You’re right. Double the order this time.” “And more candles for the eastern hall,” Elena added. “The white ones specifically. The others burned too quickly.” I pulled one of the chairs out quietly and lowered myself into it carefully, trying not to wince at the soreness spreading through my chest. The moment Miri

Game Over, Mr. CEO: Your Wife Is Done

He stubbed out his cigarette and turned to leave. Something brushed her arm, and the memory shattered. Winter turned her head. Roy was holding his phone out to her. “Want to try one?” Winter shook her head and pointed farther down the beach. Her voice was calm. “I want to set one out on the water.” Roy followed her gaze. Down the shoreline, a vendor had set up a small stand selling floating lanterns, little paper lanterns made to hold candles. People were writing messages on them, lighting the candles, and setting them out on the water.

I’m only half way through, but Chris is an absolute narcissistic jerk. If Winter gets back with him it’ll be a disgrace to all women. Please don’t make her weak and pathetic. Zac seems nice or William….but like I said I’m only half way through

THE LUNA'S SECOND DAWN

THE LUNA'S SECOND DAWN

Tomorrow brings new pain, Zara observed. Pain teaches faster than comfort. True. But some lessons exact too high a price. Morgan fears these special protocols. Morgan fears for us. But we're beyond protection now. We need tempering. The silver pendant caught moonlight as Elena touched it, still wondering about its origin. Another mystery among many, but one that felt protective rather than threatening. Outside, the compound settled into night routines. Guards patrolling. Night training for those who preferred darkness. The endless cycle of healing and strengthening that defined this sanctuary.

But I didn’t want to ruin the moment, and maybe she didn’t either, because she tugged me toward a stall selling lanterns. “Look,” she said. “They’re doing the lighting ceremony at ten. We should pick ours.” Rows of paper lanterns glowed under warm bulbs, some plain, some painted with little constellations, some shaped like animals. Gal held up a pale blue one. “This one’s cute.” “It is,” I agreed, even though I hadn’t looked at the lantern. My eyes were already on her. She felt it, because she didn’t meet my gaze either. We bought our lanterns and found a quiet corner at the edge of the square. Th

Our Luna

Our Luna

And since this mutt was a hybrid, the moonlight would be at its peak during the full moon—the strongest possible time to strip her of her abilities. The wolves had made feeble attempts to attack Laura’s witches as some of them regained consciousness, but their efforts were weak and ultimately futile. At our camp, everything was ready to conduct the sacrifice. We had gathered in the clearing, where Lory was staked to the ground, shackled beside her parents. Each of them was encircled by rings of salt, binding their powers within them while my witches remained focused in groups to suppress them. Torches surrounded the clearing, casting a golden glow over the scene.
