Lucas activated his Mind's Eye and looked in the direction of the sound only to realize that there was a piece of a mirror on the surface of the pond that was hundreds of meters away from him. The surface of the mirror looked rather ordinary, but its body was a golden purple color. "This mirror can’t be one of the Ten Legendary Weapons, the Mountain King Mirror, right?"

Perhaps for those reasons, we could say humans and these creatures weren't that different at all.
