The pressure almost tore her apart but she didn’t let go. The library reformed around her in broken pieces. Shelves and storm-light and scattered journals and silver mist all came back together unevenly. This time the everywhere was different. Laura wasn’t asleep. She was still standing in the spirit-realm library, waiting. Laura stared at her with a frown but she didn’t look shocked this time. I reply nervously and she smiles. “I’m Laura, Mr Lynott’s secretary. I’ll be giving you a brief tour of the company before you meet him for further instructions.” She says before pointing towards the elevator. “Shall we?” I nod quickly and follow her. “The first, second and third floors are solely for book publishing. That’s where all the magic happens.” Laura explains as someone clicks on the button for the third floor.

Mia asked after a moment. Hot memories of Ethan's touch flashed through Laura's mind. She could almost feel the way his caress felt on her bare skin. And good lord, those kisses. She grinned. “I did,” she admitted with the hint of a blush. “You go girl,” Mia congratulated her. “Didn't I hear that that party was in a museum?” Laura nodded. “I will never look at the Rocks, Gems, and Crystals exhibit the same.” Mia laughed. “You have to give me more than that. I need details. I mean, details of why you don't want to see him now. Not necessarily what happened in Rocks, Gems, and Crystals.”
