The Princes of Ravenwood

The Princes of Ravenwood

Tonight is the faculty Christmas party, and he’s basically one of the few people I’m friends with on staff. So during lunch, I dropped down into a chair at the table Don was already sitting at. He had a stack of books next to his brown paper bag. I furrowed my brow tilting my head to look at the spines. “The Legal Analyst by Ward Farnsworth? Law 101: Everything You Need to Know About The American Legal System by Jay Feinman? The Gentleman’s Book of Etiquette and Manual of Politeness by Cecil B. Hartley?” I read the titles then looked at the book in his hands.

I liked the story the way it is but kinda wished each guy had their own book with their own person, & not one girl for the three of them. I liked the guys personalities & their interactions with Riko. I would totally read books of the guys each finding their own person. Darius & Forrest are my favs!

Sooo refreshing to read a book about polyamory where the first half or more of the relationship(s) is NOT about partners treating each other like trash. Loved how the 4 leads actually respect, love, and support each other. Kudos to the writer for writing such loving relationships!

SINFUL PLEASURES(steamiest shorts)

Sometimes, one or even both had to sleep at the office to make sure they won a case. Few came around to the library at this time of day as most have transferred to electronic research in this day and age. Yet, the law firm refused to get rid of it mainly to maintain legacy reasoning. As a result, large books of legal statutes and regulations fill the library to the brim and various treatises on the law and journal subscriptions. And it’s the perfect place for Aaliyah and Hudson.

The King's faceless wife.

The King's faceless wife.

He wants me to learn about the law from the small guide book, not so it would help me with the large book but so I could hold on until Barlion wakes up. The book starts with the main laws about family matters, which are about half of the cases we receive in court. The books makes the law less complicated that the large law book does. It stared most of the laws I already know but more specified. Lord Jeremy didn't once stop to ask if I was understanding him or if we needed to take a break. If I am being honest, I do need to take a break. With the sleepless nights and the stress I've been in, my body has been growing weaker.

Wonderful story with very engaging characters. Overall this needs good editing, spell checks, etc. but the story and character developments flowed well that my internal translator was automatically engaged.

I left Aaron for the meantime on the part where the fountain pens are to go to the novel section. Since I saw Sophie Lark's Brutal Prince on TikTok's recommendation, people who have read this say that it has a strong female lead. I enjoy books of that genre, therefore I may be interested in reading it. I looked at the shelves. I also picked up a book and read the synopsis on the back when Aaron came to me here. "You like reading books?" he asked. I turned my eyes on him, "Uh, sometimes. If I'm interested in the plot," I answered.

Addicted to Loving You: The Paranoid and Domineering Boss's Convicted Wife

The bedroom curtains were drawn now, so the room was dark. "I was thinking about something." Yi Jinli smiled, stood up, and walked slowly over to Ling Yiran. He took the two law books she was holding from her hand and asked, "Did you buy them today?" "Yes. I'm going to brush up on my knowledge and also learn about the latest laws and case studies," said Ling Yiran. In particular, local laws would change almost every year, so even lawyers needed to constantly absorb the latest content. "Are these all you bought today?" Yi Jinli's voice became even softer.

I hate the author. He did not finish the love story for other characters, which is Gu Lichen and Zhong Keke. I've invested a lot, just to read this story, because it's nice. But after a series and continues reading the Author didn't finish for Lichen and Zhong Keke.
the good reader
my bestest best book. very good read. keeping me through the chapters having different emotions yet maintaining suspence and connection. Really good book, full of real passion, intimacy and pure love yet without explicit content.

Two Brothers. One Soulmate

“Who is Mr. Knights lawyer? Liam says this lawyer has a way of making things… disappear.” Wilder pulled a folder out of his jacket and handed it to Saint. “His name is Samuel L. Lance” He said, “been a lawyer for about thirty eight years. He’s won many cases where crucial evidence has gone missing and his clients are questionable. Many of them are criminals ranging in everything from assault, drugs, and in five cases… murder.” A clang came from the kitchen and everyone turned their head to see Jackson picking a pot off the floor. Nathan jumped up off the couch and went over to help him.

HEIR OF PAIN

HEIR OF PAIN

It was the weekend, and the whole Black Mansion felt quiet. Arden had just finished breakfast and, having nothing else to do, decided to spend his morning in the library. He pressed in the password as he pushed the door open and walked inside. His eyes scanned the rows of shelves stacked neatly with books. Arden sat down on the floor, leaning his back against the wall with a book in his hands. He looked serious, his eyes moving slowly over the lines as he read. The title of the book was The Principle of Rule of Law. Anyone who saw him would instantly know he was studying something related to law. His brow furrowed slightly as he underlined a sentence with his pencil. He liked learning, espec

Dangerous Attachment

"The two aren't mutually exclusive." He placed the page back on the table. "You keep looking for legal flaws." "Because we're lawyers." "No." Roman leaned forward slightly. "We're strategists." His eyes locked onto hers. "The law is just the battlefield." Vivian studied him. There it was again. That dangerous way he looked at problems. As though rules existed merely to be understood... ...before they were outmaneuvered. It should have unsettled her. Instead... She found herself wanting to hear what he'd say next.
