Megan began to sulk. Then, she remembered something and said hopefully, "Lately, I've been reading about the law of attraction. Why don't you look at more pictures of baby girls? Manifestation works, you know." She immediately searched for cute baby girl videos on various social media platforms in front of Celeste. Celeste looked at her friend, whom she had known for many years, feeling touched yet amused. "It's a girl. Don't worry," she said. "Did you find out the gender? It's only been a few months. She threw the book on the floor far away from the bed. "Stay away from it Rae, it's cursed." "I d-don't know." "What do you mean you don't know? What if it sucks us in and we are caught inside some weird ass fairytale, like in those movies." "Em, I think you're forgetting that I have literally read the book and nothing happened. I am still here." She narrowed her eyes at me. "Are you truly Astraea ?" "What the heck? Of course, I am Astraea, you idiot."

A shock of energy was felt within my body and I brought my hand up, towards the book. And then, I felt like the air around my hands was becoming thick and as if I could feel and touch the energy waves around me, that are naked to our eye. I opened my eyes and afterwards, as if everything went to slow motion. The book started vibrating at it's spot and softly slipped out of its place. It felt as if the book was a south pole of the magnet while my hand a north pole, attracting the book near to it. The book flowed slowly into the air, until landing neatly in my hands.

Reese laughed, “it’s OK Beautiful, I’m just messing with you. I do have to admit something though. Something is drawing me to you. Don’t worry, I don’t mean a mate bond, but something.
