"What happened to you?" That was a damn good question. Now that I was getting a better look, I could see that he was more like a demon than a man. His gray eyes, which were usually so gentle, held the glow of bloodlust as he took in the scene ahead, and large black wings spread from his shoulder blades, stretching out around him to knock away anyone who may have gotten close. "Asher, please speak to me." Leah begged, taking a step forward. "Leah!" I hissed, just as a vicious smile spread across Asher’s lips. Lifting a hand, he let a ball of energy form on it as Leah continued to tentatively move. "LOOK OUT!"

Leah The mountain was trying to kill us before we even reached it. Wind slammed into Keanu’s flank with the force of a battering ram, throwing him sideways. His wings adjusted, tilting, compensating, but the next gust hit from the opposite direction and the world lurched hard to the left. I pressed myself flat against the warm scales of his back, my fingers locked into the grooves between them, my cheek against the heat of him as the storm screamed around us.

Two overconfident she-wolves were pieces of cake to her. "Who is she?" The redhead who called out to them asked, realizing who the newcomer was but deciding to confirm. "Livian, Anna, meet my mate and your Luna, Noelle Moore," Ezekiel announced. Livian Rodriguez, the beta, bared her neck out of respect and so did her friend Anna Krone. But Noelle sensed the slight change in her demeanor and realized, with a smirk, that this one would be the first to challenge her when the time came.

"Do you really think my dad has ruled this pack for years without seeing something like that coming?" Leah's expression suddenly darkened. Her gaze turned harsh. "In that case, don't blame me for what happens next." While speaking, she pulled out a silver dagger from behind her waist. She clenched her jaws, and her face went pale as she drove it into her own arm. She then let out a shrill scream. The werewolves outside ran in. All they saw was Leah collapsing weakly and crying in grievance. "Lana, why would you do this to me with a silver blade?"

Lea said firmly and added, "The reason you or anyone in our world do not know about my existence is that my identity has been kept hidden since my birth" "But why? And why should I believe anything you are saying?" Elizabeth asked this time a bit more composed and serious. Lea gave a small smile as she closed her eyes and placed her right palm on her left arm as she resited a few chants. A bright light started to glow under her palm and then dimmed. Lea removed her palm from her arm to reveal a tattoo mark of a Phoenix with the wings of a dragon. Looking at the mark on her arm Elizabeth was in complete shock unable to utter a word.

But there was no chance to debate on that as the shuffling feets grow closer and she immediately dove into her duvet closing her eyes just in case.

She placed the other hand on the rope holding the coat to her body by the neck. "I believe you but yes, I still want to see." Leo's eyes shone with excitement. She pulled off the coat revealing two mighty wings which shone a pure white hot, their hands still connected and eyes fixed on each other, they both felt a spark, like electricity sizzling deep in their pupils and Leo gasped, taking a step back. Sheila smiled and let go of his hand, she put the coat back around her and her wings folded back. "What was that?" Leo asked, a little out of breath. Sheila smiled at him and ignored his question and made her way to the front seat urging him to join her.
