Mona Fields stood beside the woman explaining the ticket process, nodding attentively as she tried to keep up. Today was her first day working at the underground boxing venue, and she had been assigned the role of ticket reviewer. Even saying it out loud sounded ridiculous. A ticket reviewer? It wasn't exactly the job of her dreams, but she needed the extra cash. Her roommate, Flora, had pulled some strings with the manager—her boyfriend—and convinced him to hire Mona. Flora worked here as a sign holder, parading around the ring between rounds in barely-there outfits, flashing a bright smile to the roaring crowd.

He smirked and winked at his friends as the youngsters made their way over. "Gramps, what's that on your plate?" Kyle pointed at the offensive leftover pie. Clancy rolled his eyes and held his hand out towards the other occupants at the table. "Never mind that come on and meet my friends. You already met Gus and Arty, but this here is Theo, Deke, and Charlie. Boys, this is my grandson Kyle, and you all know Kerryanne."

He saw her earlier with Mrs Morgan but didn't know what they were discussing and he wasn't suspicious as well since they were like mother and daughter. Mrs Morgan was one of the trusted security agents and she was the oldest in the house. But now, he believed her disappearance had everything to do with her. Anthony stepped out of the room and shut the door. After searching everywhere including where he searched before, he made up his mind to question Mrs Morgan. ********** Trevor stuttered and a wide grin was plastered on his face as he lay sprawled on the floor with 10 bottles of bourbon and whiskey beside him. He was short and bald and had this evil, sick smile that twisted his ugly face. “This is Burke,” Jetter said, “my second in command.” Burke nodded at me, and Jetter motioned for him to leave. Burke grinned and left the room. “I’m staying,” Dad said. “Very well. Leilani, let’s sit.” We took seats at the conference table, Jetter to my left. Dad went and sat at the head of the table, not far away. “Well,” Jetter said. “This is awkward.” “Yeah,” I said. “A little bit.”

He makes a little grimace and hits me again in the side but, like the other one, this one is still a caress. - Come on, don't be a pussy and hit me- I tell him. *** -That's enough for today guys, next day you'll make keys- Bob explains, jotting something down in a notebook. I go to my stool and take a quiet drink of water. I see Campbell with a frown gathering his things next to two boys who are talking animatedly. He picks up his stuff and leaves, slamming the door, and I shrug and walk over to Bob. -See you at eight, text me when you're downstairs from my house, okay?

Leo replied and Luca jumped aboard, dragging me to the back with him. Soon after, Leo joined us and Luca pulled something out of his bag. Leo's eyes lit up. "Scotch?" I asked, grimacing. "The Alpha's favourite," Luca replied. Luca handed Leo the bottle and he downed about a quarter of it neat. "Drinking spirits in the back of the bus. And you call me the annoying irresponsible teenager?" I asked. "Shut up and drink some," he said. I took the bottle and drank a few mouthfuls before stopping to gag.

I had no choice but to do this job so I just did my daily routine and did as was told and cookd what Brian loved. I walked with a tray in my hands of a chicken salad I had made with a glass of lemonade since it was kinda hot outside today and I knew Brian must be a bit warm in his room. So I wanted to make him something cool and refreshing to drink and eat. I took a deep breath in before knocking and then coming in but no guards or nursers were with me this time. I guess they all got tired of this bull shit as I was. I came in to find Brian sitting on his bed smiling at me.

screamed Baden, jumping to his feet. “MR BADEN, SIT DOWN.” shouted Sillicoe. “Oh come on, you’re saying she some sort of fucking alien or some bullshit.” “I’m not saying she’s an alien.” said Sarah calmly, “I’m saying I can’t identify what species the other part of the DNA is from.” “Well gentlemen,” said Sillicoe turning to the Magdelenes, “I think we are done here.” He started to stand. “You have got to be kidding, SHE IS FUCKING LYING.” yelled Kerpen.

It was the first time I saw the tattoo that covered his entire back. I’d never seen it before. It was a highly detailed skull that was realistic and somewhat menacing, with deep, dark eye sockets and a wide, toothy grin. The shading and depth gave it a three-dimensional effect, making it appear almost lifelike. The design extended from his lower back up to his shoulders, creating a striking and impactful visual. It was certainly a work of art and my favorite tattoo of his. My second favorite were the words written on his fingers. They spelt out ‘il migliore’ which was Italian for his nickname ‘The Beast’, a title he wore with pride.
