A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

A LEAP OUT OF THE MIRE

I sighed. I lay my baby in her crib. She was fast asleep which was a good thing. I walked to the shelf beside the bed and opened the lower drawer, I collected my books; a chemistry textbook and a jotter to read. I preferred textbooks to school notes because they brought deeper meanings to a subject and exposed various tricks to get your answers. I lay down on the floor with a blanket burying myself in. I managed to find my hands and started attacking organic chemistry.

My True Friend

My True Friend

Then, the teacher began the physics lesson and I started to see things like Motion, calculations involving motion, Friction, and so on, I knew immediately that I was doomed. I realized that loving maths doesn't automatically mean that you'll love physics too or so I thought as physics requires a lot of deeper thinking and Interest which I wasn't willing to do. I preferred thinking about what to write next for my novel instead of that. To tell you the truth, Chemistry was the subject that made me run away from Science why because when I started hearing those chemical Names I felt like I was going crazy. Imagine me thinking of the chemical formula of Tetra oxo sulfate ( Vi )

Who's the Substitute Now?

Who's the Substitute Now?

Being a graduate of a prestigious school, there was no way she couldn't understand the content. "An orphan like you, without proper education, claims I can't understand?" She scoffed, proceeding to open the leather-bound notebook. Natalie lowered her gaze. Inside, there were formulas, chemical bonds, and a bunch of letters all jumbled up. It made no sense to her whatsoever. What even was all this? Natalie realized she indeed couldn't understand a thing. A touch of embarrassment crossed Natalie's confident expression. She just couldn't believe it. Natasha clearly picked up on Natalie's discomfort. She grinned. "So, did you manage to figure anything out?"

To Tempt My Stepbrother

To Tempt My Stepbrother

“Been practising?” “Yeah.” I cough again and clear my throat. “Yes.” Mostly at night when the whole house is asleep since I can’t catch a break in school. Over the days, I’ve learnt two things. One, chemistry isn’t so bad. Two, nothing is impossible if you have someone like Calum to break it down for you with cue cards.

I highly recommend reading this story! This book and it’s characters will forever stay with me! It’s a great story, that you can feel the raw emotions of the characters. I must admit when I started reading, Stranger Things season came on the same week and I have always envisioned Cal as Eddie haha.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC book! I became deeply invested quickly. I binge read ALL 203 chapters in 3 days! The author put such careful thought into the characters & storyline. This book had me feeling a range of emotions. I can't count how many times I cried, laughed, smiled, paniced, or jumped for joy!

The Chemistry Clause

The Chemistry Clause

ZOE “Your place is beautiful!” Rachel exclaimed, as she sprawled on my bed. I nodded, grateful for this apartment. It was big and beautiful. “It is.” “Apartments are very expensive in New York, my place sucks.” She shivered in hypothetical chills. “Is that why you were outside so late?” I asked, handing her a glass of juice. I wasn’t really good at hosting. “Thank you.” She took a sip before she continued, “That’s part of it. I’m still uncertain about what to do in New York. I thought to take a walk, observe, and learn. Maybe I’ll get an idea.”

The Alpha's Warlock

The Alpha's Warlock

Chapter 5 Hold, Please We followed the plan, and the rest of the weekend flew by in a blur of coffee and sticky notes. I finished the Chem 101 midterm, finally, and then moved on to intro genetics—which wasn’t as difficult, ironically, because I could write it with a little faith in my students’ ability to read.

Amazing story! Well written, well developed long chapters, well editted, well balanced (Story, emotion and sex), well...everything! Well done Author!!! One of the best books I have read on this or other platforms. I also love your smart, sharp and quick witted sense of humor! It was very refreshing!

I'm only 18% into this masterpiece of emotional rollercoasters, but I can say with 100% certainty that the real warlock is the author and their amazing way of crafting and weaving the words like magic. Truly, this is a cut above the rest in quality and I can't get enough of it ...

It All Started With A Boy

"K-i-s-s-i-n-g.' Caitlyn and I sang. Gazelle laughed as Tishe walked away from us. "That'll teach her to make fun of people." Caitlyn said as we reached our lockers. "Must you guys talk so loudly. I mean, the entire hallway can freaking hear you." Tishe said, crossly. I smirked as I opened my locker taking out my Chemistry, Civic Education and Estate History textbooks. "I do hope our Chemistry class is going to be interesting. My old Chemistry teacher was dreadfully dull." Gazelle said to me. I shrugged. "It's boring sometimes, but that's only if Mr Ogunsanya is taking us. If Professor Dike is taking us then get ready to have lot of chemical fun."

THE PASTOR'S SON'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRECT

THE PASTOR'S SON'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRECT

I liked it. When he finally stepped inside and closed the door, the look on his face—irritation mixed with that reluctant spark—made my blood run hotter. We started with Chemistry like we were supposed to. He flipped open the textbook, explaining equilibrium constants and Le Chatelier’s principle in that focused, patient voice of his. I listened. Really listened. But mostly I watched his mouth move, the way his fingers tapped the page when he was trying to stay professional, how his bandaged knees shifted under the desk.

Fall in love inside a novel!

Fall in love inside a novel!

She instructed her best friend and rushed to the bathroom. "What's this?" Tasha found something on her desk. she picked up the booklet and turned the pages, "A new novel?" she exclaimed. "Wait!" Arielle shouted from the bathroom, she had the habit to write it down instead of typing her stories, she used her gift to write 2-3 chapters of her new novel last night before going to bed. She rushed out with the toothbrush still on her hand. "Give that to me." "Nope. You're writing a new novel? A romance novel at that?" Tasha ran around the room reading the notes.
