“You’re not touching her.” Victoria tilted her head. “Still playing hero? Even after everything your bloodline has done to destroy this world? You don’t even realize, Liam, you and I are the same kind of monster.” Liam laughed, but there was no humor in it. “No. You made monsters. I’m done being one.” The submersible trembled as a distant explosion echoed through the ice. Victoria’s eyes flicked upward, calm, almost amused. “You think you can end me with fire?” she said. “I built something that doesn’t burn.”

He softly breaks the kiss and leans his forehead against my head. ”Please tell me if I’m too much” he murmurs gently. ”You are not, but I will tell you if you are” I whisper. ”I have something I want to ask” Liam tells me. He looks nervous all of a sudden. ”Okey?” I reply a bit guarded. ”About the prom. I had this thought already before tonight” he begins. ”What is it?” I ask with a sense of dread. ”I would like to us wear something matching" Liam replies. Huh, that's what he wanted to ask? I feel relieved!

A monster had taken over her body! Everyone else was too foolish to notice. Only he had figured it out. He had to save his sister. He had to find a way to drive that monster away. The officer bent down and lifted Liam into his arms. His stern expression softened considerably. "If you don't know them... do you know where your home is?" "Or a phone number for one of your family members?" After thinking for a moment, Liam nodded. His large, tear-filled eyes were so pitiful they could melt anyone's heart.

They sign in disappointment while I was jumping up and down inside my head. We continue playing few more rounds, the game getting more and more intense, Monica is forced to dance, and Daniel kissing the person next to him which turns out to be Stephen, we laugh the whole time teasing at them. "Let's go," Liam says in my ears. "Okay" "Guys Scarlet mom just text me up asking us to come back," Liam says to the group. "Why? Leaving so soon?" Stephen whines, Stephen is Liam closer friend, they use to play soccer together. He's the only one I talk to.

Malik and I entered the main hall, and immediately, the air changed. Lizzie Robinson was standing in the center of a circle of elite pack heirs, her white gown shimmering like a silver ghost. She spotted me and her smile turned razor-sharp. "Chika Whitmore! Look at you," she projected her voice, ensuring the entire room heard. "I saw the feeds, darling. Abandoned at the Silverfang Chamber. How did it feel to be the wolf no one wanted to claim?"

Liam cleared his throat to address the people. "Greetings to you all, I know you are all wondering why I urgently called you all to this meeting, I wouldn't be taking much of our time, something strange has been happening for a while now in the pack and I'd like to address it, the earlier the better." Liam said, the whole crowd began to murmur amongst themselves puzzled at his words. Liam held out his hands to order decorum. "As I have earlier said, there has been some few massive changes in which not all of you would have noticed but I did, and today, I am here to fish out the Mastermind behind it and do justice to the werewolf." Liam said, attracting more little talks from the crowd.

" I almost laughed at how ridiculous it sounded. I used to think Ophelia was just born rotten. As it turned out, Lauren wasn't any better. Like they say, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I shot Lauren a cold glance, then suddenly waved toward the distance, my voice bright. "Mom! You're here!" Lauren jerked her head up and followed my gaze. The operator who had controlled the memory extraction machine that day was striding straight toward us. I looked at the two of them, stunned speechless, and let out a quiet, mocking laugh. "Sorry. I already have a new family now. I have a new mom. If you keep bothering me, I'm calling the police."

His hand lifted, hovered just inches from the handle. If he turned it , if he stepped inside there’d be no undoing it. Not this time. He could finish what they started.
