Elaine cleared her throat, shooting Medea a disapproving stern look causing her smile to quickly vanish and she grew sober again. Theresa thought for a second and said, "I think I have an idea of what you mean, Mistress Elaine.” “No,” Elaine stopped her, smiling at how weird the title sounded. “I would rather you call me just Elaine.” “Very well then, pardon me, Elaine…” Theresa apologized, blushing a bit. “I started to have these strange feelings after my first blood moon. The queen found out and always had me locked in my room during my blood moons till I was done."

She didn’t know about that. “She…” Her mother’s breath hitched, “she tied him to the moon. Just him though. He won’t be able to roam the earth as a human for two weeks straight. He would be trapped in his wolf form, with no hold on his humanity, for every first two weeks of the month” A breath of relief left Shirley in a rush. Relief that at least he was not without his suffering. Werewolves took pride in their strength as wolves. Not being able to access and control that form when they wanted had to be a nightmare, innit?

But just when she fell deeply with her mate, whom she initially hated, the Moon Goddess threw her ace card just to hurt her tenfold this time. “I don’t want to pry, but… you can tell me anything,” Lia offered while maneuvering the car. “You look really sad, Luna. I hate to see you in that state.” “You know what’s worse than rejection, Lia?” she asked, still looking at the car window and breathing heavily. Lia cast a glance at her before looking at the road again. “I’m not sure I can answer that correctly, Luna.”

She buried herself under her blankets, letting the silence consume her as she tried to ignore the pounding of her own heart. In the dimness of her room, as daylight faded and the shadows grew long, Channary clutched her pillow, sinking deeper into her shame. "HA. You have nothing on me" I raise an eyebrow at him. "Really, because the Moon Goddess told me last night you called her an evil, neglectful bitch a while back". We all froze when we heard growling coming from the stove. I had never heard Mary growl before, and from the look on Liam's and Conrad's faces, they hadn't either. "Liam Raymon Blackwood. You said WHAT about our beloved Moon Goddess?". He starts stammering. "I was very upset, and she actually helped me make the compass thing to find our Luna Queen, so I think she is OK with me now".

I said, laughing disdainfully, “I will take revenge on you, tear you to pieces!” Rowan grinned, saying mockingly, “I look forward to your return, your majesty!” As soon as his words fell off his mouth, his arm swiftly and accurately pierced my chest, precisely digging out my heart. Blooms of blood appeared on the bed sheet, like some kind of cruel artwork. “Moon Goddess, please give me a chance to be reborn!” I silently pleaded, just before my heart was harvested. At this moment, the dazzling full moon suddenly emitted a blinding white light.

I will do the stupid Hide and Go Seek in the woods. ‘Thank you. And Sugar?’ “Yeah?’ ‘Whatever happens during the ritual, don’t run and don’t fight me.’ ‘Excuse me?’ He doesn’t answer. I pace my room. The once full blood moon is starting to become a waning gibbous. I always preferred a waxing gibbous. My chest is tight and it feels as if something is trying to claw its way out. I look away from the window and instead sit on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I barely slept because of the strange feeling.

“I am not a cheater!” Selena shouted the words when she finally stopped. She was facing the car, her eyes locked on the alpha. “I am not! I will never cheat on anyone, and nothing you say or do is going to make me believe in the Moon goddess or a stupid mate bond!” Tears ran down her face freely.
