The Life The Beginning

The Life The Beginning

Personally, I want to see what's in that book. I'd spent yet another evening thinking about her. She's the first thing in life that had taken my focus off the endgame, which is not exactly a good thing. I didn't make provisos for being sidetracked because until one day ago, I didn't think there was anything that could sway me from my path. But something about her situation keeps pulling at me, and I know I won't rest until I get to the bottom of this shit.

The Life of Freedom I Long For

The Life of Freedom I Long For

Be sensible. Every word carried a commanding tone. He clearly believed I would react the same way I always had—no matter how he mocked or humiliated my feelings, I'd eventually crawl back, apologizing just to stay by his side. Not this time. I gave a small shrug and tossed the phone straight into the trash can—along with the pathetic life I'd once lived. There was nothing left in this town to miss. My gambling father died years ago. I'd sold the house, and now, with my mother healthy again, we were heading overseas to start anew.

A Life Without Gratitude

A Life Without Gratitude

Recognizing ally when I see one, even unlikely ally. Quote to remember: "We can choose to be alive instead of dutiful." I close the journal and look at the calendar on my wall. December 15th is circled in red. Twenty-four days until I can file for divorce. Twenty-four days until freedom. I've died once already. I can survive twenty-four more days. And then I'm going to build the life I should have had the first time. A life where I'm not a wife, daughter, sister, bank, or dumpster.

One Life, One Fate

One Life, One Fate

"Go now. In your next life, you will be born into a loving, ordinary family, with loving parents, a healthy body, and a peaceful and happy life." I turned back, taking one last look at the world full of scars and entanglements. The small sunflower windmill in front of my tombstone spun tirelessly in the wind. In the distance, Timothy's foundation allocated its first grant to help a female awake her wolf. My spirit lived on forever in another form now. I smiled with relief, turned around, and plunged into that warm light without looking back. Goodbye, Timothy Russell. Goodbye to the six years I spent loving you.

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

More bookshelves covered the walls in front of her with an open hallway in the center. Sean interrupted her viewing to tell her to look at the middle shelf to the right. Laying flat, one on top of the other were two beautiful photo books, with candles on each side. She went to pick up the large photo album, forgetting about her hand, when Sean picked it up and placed it on the desk. She opened the first page and saw the foundation of this place, with a picture of the boys and Sean. A note below it said. “We are your foundation. We will always be here to build you up. Love, Your guys, forever.”

The Stolen Life

The Stolen Life

I closed my eyes, trembling as tears escaped and fell into the food. "Happy birthday, Eleanor Shaw," I whispered to myself. "Keep moving forward—onward forever. Even if no one loves you, there's still light at the end of the tunnel. As Jeffrey said, you have enjoyed over 20 wonderful years of wealth and privilege. You've had it good." Just like that, I repeated words of comfort to myself as I wiped away my tears. I moved all my belongings that I had sorted out over the past two weeks in the living room.

Mafia's Destructed Love

Mafia's Destructed Love

the doctor asked and she nodded "Life is a long journey dear but we only get one chance to live it and enjoy it to its fullest. Don't waste it mourning on something that you can't get back. Last time you became numb and now you became too expressive of your emotions. Try to become what you were Turvi, try to live again, see the things around you very carefully and observe them. You will get a reason to live. I have this book. It helped me a lot. Read it carefully and understand everything it will surely help you "the doctor said and gave her the book Turvi took it and looked at it. It's a spiritual book.

Living with His Mark

Living with His Mark

I notice his head hangs low obviously in the defeat we both feel. “My strong protector.” I turn to the voice and see the most beautiful woman I have seen well at least for an older lady. “Goddess?” “Yes my dear protector. I want you to know that you have yet to fail. You need to stay strong on the path you are on. I know you grieve deeply for those that have been lost. I am sorry so many were taken before I would have liked. But they are happy now with those they had lost. They will be reborn when their time comes. You have finally come to where you need to be. For your sacrifice I will grant you one life. Stay strong protector your struggle is not over.”

I wish I read this book before I read the 2nd book because the 2nd book isn't finished and hasn't been updated in awhile. If anything can go wrong in a story, it did in this book! The author had me glued to figure out how all these twists and turns were going to work themselves out. Must read!!

What is Living?

What is Living?

And enjoying socializing without being afraid of the judgements they're throwing. I wanted to feel alive...but how? I'm alive, but not living. That's how I defined my life. It's all started when I was five. The day when my life turned into lifeless. The red curtains swayed like its dancing to the rhythm of the wind. A loud shattering of glass filled my ears. My lips quivered in fear and tightly shut my eyes as I covered my ears with my tiny hands. "You can't leave me! Stay with us!"
