he claimed. He stared at Vacio, wanting to see his face if he was lying. What was he holding just now? A booklet? "What was that?" he asked. That book has a dark cover, almost black, and a few number of pages that made the book thinner than usual. Something was written on the cover of that book… Blaze Harper? "I said what was that?" he demanded.

The blonde woman asked furiously. "The light is not coming from me. It is coming from inside the book," Goodness said. Slightly angered, the blonde woman took the light in his hand and put it away. "There you go," the blonde woman said with delight. "The light has been removed. Can you see any light coming from the book again?" "I can't," Goodness replied. "That is because there is none and there never was. I can't believe you actually believe what I said about this book lying here for a century without being read by a single person. Take a look at the top of the book. What does it says?"

The Rest Is Light

The Rest Is Light

Alas, no matter how gently I tried, the doll was beyond repair. It was not until the next day, when Rebecca walked by my room, that I started to snap out of it. I picked myself up off the floor. I had someone clear out the room. Silently, I moved to the desk, my eyes landing on the dusty family portrait. There they were, Rebecca and Nash. Her smile was so bright that it hurt to look at. Outside, the sky was a menacing shade of gray. I set the photo on fire with a lighter, and I watched in silence as it turned to ash.

She wanted her to feel to the last moments of her life, just as she did when was on the surface with Miguel. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Maria and Juan arrived at Miguel's home where the ritual was to take place. They prepared everything they needed and sat down in a circle. Following the instructions in the book, Maria drew an inverted pentagram on the floor with chalk and in the center she wrote the names of the Lords of the Underworld: Samael and Lilith. Then Mary lit three black candles and passed one to each of those present, and lit incense from her candle. Then she began reciting a Latin fo

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Light & Darkness: Book 1

Sunlight filtered through a thick blue curtain, illuminating a small room located in the attic. Right by the door was a large wooden desk, painted white, and a swivel chair. Under the desk was a trash can filled to the brim with some papers, soda bottles, and salty snack wrappers. On the desk there was a laptop in a silver casing, a pile of notebooks and books, and a tiny lamp. Above the desk there was a large shelf with a lot of books - from textbooks, through readings, to romances. Here and there, there were photos framed in colorful frames and many other ornaments such as jugs, figurines, etc.

The book has a black leather cover and on the center of the cover, there is a glass bulging bubble that's filled with some kind of red liquid. Please don't be blood. I bend to pick up the book and stumble back a bit. It's heavy and I lug it into the room kicking the door shut with the back of my heel before moving to sit down on my bed. "Who left you at my door." I openly think as I read over the cover. Elgadah Furrucci presents. Advanced Spells and Enchantments. English translation. The words are printed in italics across the cover. I run my hand over the cover and I can feel the light layer of dust on it. My hand stops at the glass bubble and I avoid touching that part.

she grumbled. Elly came over shortly after with excitement, bringing a dusty book. The symbol on the cover caught Eva's attention. It looked like an arrow embedded in a large letter L. She touched the raised design with her hand. But Elly was excited. She pushed Eva's hand aside and showed her. "Did the light from the necklace look like this?" she asked. The picture showed orange lights streaming in horizontal bands. "Yes, it was exactly like that, like you'd lit a lantern," Eva replied.

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

Emma Swanlara kent
But Lara did… and it hurt her more than what he did to her three years back. Since she was left alone by Christophe and Francine, she went off to explore after dinner, wandering through beautifully furnished and decorated reception rooms that were lifeless. Lara was delighted to come upon a library and, locating the English section, selected ‘Jane Eyre’, her favorite. She hadn’t read it for several years. But Charlotte Brontë failed her for the very first time. Lara found it impossible to concentrate. Standing up again, she cast the book aside and stepped through the curtains to open the French windows that featured in virtually every room. She walked along the terrace. As Lara passed by ope
