FRAGILE PROMISES

FRAGILE PROMISES

Thompson had returned to guide me, and I was ready to follow his wisdom, trusting in the journey that awaited me. I followed the clue given to me by Mr. Thompson, allowing it to guide me to my next destination. The path led me through bustling city streets, winding through hidden alleyways, and eventually brought me to the entrance of an old, dilapidated building. It stood tall, a stark contrast to the modern structures that surrounded it.

Good Girl in Action

Good Girl in Action

If there’s really a door, I must find it. I saw a light from afar. It was getting closer. I had a good feeling about it. I think Osca sent us something to guide us like the bright star in the holy bible. It was the star of Bethlehem who led the three wise men to Jesus. I wish that this light would also lead us to the right route where we should be. I narrowed my eyes to see what it was. Fortunately, it was a ship. I think we could ask for help. The massive ship drew nearer to us. It entered with a grand entrance through the fog. Music was playing inside my head like I’ve seen this scene from a Hollywood film. The figment of my imagination created the sound of trumpets as it approaches us.

Alright. I have to say this. That twist got me. I thought the mirror reflection scene was just a plain old-used scenario, but I was surprised (in a good way) that Vad became a totally different person (gender). I find the POV funny. This book is well written and has an interesting opening chapter.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

The Light in the Dark [English]

The Light in the Dark [English]

My eyes widened when I saw a knife behind on him. “Wait, is that a sword? A real sword? Wow, I just saw something like that,” I said and tried to touch it, but Grant quickly tapped my hand, but there was still a small wound. Is that sword so sharp? “Look at what you did. You are, give your hand to me,” he took my hand and covered his hand. I was closed by a little light that came out of it, after that— it’s disappeared; therefore, I immediately looked at Grant and my writing.

Now I'm waiting for the count to begin. One emperor, one light. After ten minutes of silence, the light turned on. Please assist me with counting. The first five white lights flashed, then three yellowish lights flashed, one dim light flashed, and finally, one red light flashed. Thank you very much. Thank you to my grandfathers who have voted; eleven of you have done so. Those who believe we should take the saw route, please show yourself as your light has shown. Five red lights appeared first, followed by two yellowish lights, and finally one faint light.

Ilyria and the Lightning Bird

Ilyria and the Lightning Bird

She held up her arm, shaking her head and as she did so, the sleeve fell. Something bright red and blinking shot out from her arm and hovered directly in front of her face. Astrapi was nodding and gesturing with his hand to move forward. She took a step and the blinking red point of light moved forward with her. Another step and it moved forward too. Was it moving with her? She continued walking forward wondering how this was helping and what it even was. Just then, the red light shifted to her left. She tried walking forward again and the red light stayed where it was, blinking. She stepped toward it and it started moving again, leading her in a new direction. She became aware of Astrapi wa

LIGHT AFTER DARK

LIGHT AFTER DARK

“Lara…” he whispered. “Wait there… Don’t move…” An involuntarily moan escaped her and Christophe spun fluidly around. But by then Lara had already fled, her sole desire to escape. She raced down the steps that led into the gardens, her breath sobbing in her throat. “Lara!” she heard Christophe’s voice calling. Powerful lights came on, illuminating the outdoors. But Lara kept on running blindly, heedless of the shrubs that tore at her. The heel of one of her shoes snapped when she stumbled. She kicked it off and then bent to rip off the other one.

The moon rocks lost luna

The moon rocks lost luna

“Show me what I need to do. Teach me how to guide without losing them… without losing myself.” The Moon Goddess extended her hand, silver threads of light curling outward, weaving through the shadows, illuminating paths that were previously invisible. “Listen. Watch. Feel. Lead not by control, nor by fear, nor by denying the past, but by understanding its lessons and embracing its guidance. There will be near misses, moments where instinct will carry you faster than thought. There will be tests, moments of shadow that threaten, but they do not define the path—they illuminate it, if you are willing to see.”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

“Marked as Property, Stolen by the Alpha”

The city knew the way. That was the first thing I realized. Not guessed. Realized. The pulses beneath the streets weren't random. They were guiding us. Like a heartbeat leading blood home. Like a lantern leading travelers through darkness. Like a story leading readers toward the page they were always meant to find. Lumora remembered. And now it wanted us to remember too. The crew followed the glowing paths through the city. Golden light flowed beneath crystal seams in the streets. Every pulse illuminated the route ahead.

The Witch Doctor, Hellblades Series Part 1 of 3

I had no energy left to waste on his pettyness. Manolya’s voice came again, quiet but insistent. “Uncle… how do we even get back later? These tunnels go on forever.” I reached into my pack and pulled out one of the small sticks I’d been dropping along the way. I cracked it and a neon green light spilled out, painting our faces strange in the dark. “I’ve been leaving these,” I said, grinning, trying to keep my voice steady. “We later follow them back, and we’ll find our way out.”

A Night With The Alpha King: Rejected And Reclaimed

I asked. ‘Yes, I did. Follow it,’ She replied. “But how, everywhere is dark. I can't see anything.” Immediately I finished speaking, a faint light shone ahead. It was weak, but it was enough to guide me forward through the long dark hallway that seemed endless. “I guess I don't have a choice,” I mumbled to myself. My feet didn’t touch anything, but I moved toward the light, almost like I was gliding. “You’re not supposed to be here.” A voice rasped sharply.
