Lila From Miraculous Ladybug Novels & Stories

It was better that they were not prepared for the truth of the extent of my magic on the off chance I needed to use it to escape them. I’d just settled into the warmth of the thick folds of the loosely hung tapestry when Lila fell to one knee and bowed her head. I looked with awe at the slender, stately woman who glided onto the platform. Her movements were smooth and regal as she settled into her throne. Long, perfectly manicured fingernails extended the length of her digits, making her slender hands look almost alien in appearance. The bridge of her nose was straight and narrow. It was perfectly centered between a pair of large, green, cat-like eyes that were framed by thick arched br

“Yes. I don’t know how, but… I heard you say I’m brave, and that I’m safe here.” Calista’s mouth fell open, but before she could respond, the door creaked open, and the healer came in carrying a bowl of herbal soup usually given to the wolves who have just given birth. Sable was a small, wiry woman in her late 50s with sharp eyes that missed nothing, and she had a calming presence that had been a godsend during the chaos of my labor. “Sable,” Calista said, her voice still laced with shock. “Lyra just… she said she can hear my thoughts.”

These tall attractive statuesque women responded: “Did you really come to see healer Lila?” A thin woman, whose height seemed to be considerably above average, approached her. The woman had dark hair, and she was grayed at the temples. She inspected me with all the vigor and glare that she possessed in her eyes suddenly. "So," she said in a cold voice. “This is our new Luna. I nodded and tried to stand under her watch. "Yes, I'm Lyra. It's an honor to meet you, Healer Lila." She raised an eyebrow. "Is that so? And what exactly do you know about healing, little omega?"

I continue, holding up the device, “contains a conversation I recorded earlier this week. A conversation in which Lila makes some… interesting admissions.” I press play, and her voice fills the room, clear and unmistakable. “You think she’s so perfect, don’t you? Well, she’s not. Siena’s just a weak little girl pretending to be strong. And once everyone sees her lose control, they’ll turn on her. They’ll see that I’m the one who deserves to stand beside Raiden.” The recording continues, Lila’s voice growing harsher, more venomous. “It wasn’t hard to push her over the edge. A few drops of the right compound in my perfume, and her wolf went wild. It was almost too easy.”

Lila carefully picked up the eggs one after another and cracked them into a bowl. "One…" Crack! "Two…" Crack! Soon, she was already on the sixth egg. However, just as she was about to crack it..... Slip! The egg suddenly slipped from her fingers. "Ah!" Lila gasped in shock as the egg fell toward the floor. But before it could even hit the ground.... Whoosh! Aria appeared instantly and caught the egg smoothly in midair.

Lilia didn't say a word but fixed her little strength on the plates she washed, her life didn't make any more sense to her so it isn't worth living. Lilia heard footsteps behind her, she could feel the eyes of someone staring at her, "You stink!" A familiar voice cut her through. Lilia's eyes narrowed and quickly she recognized the voice. Stunned, she turned and her eyes locked gaze with Sarah who stared at her in disgust.

“I’m glad you like them. I even made some for Sara. Do you want to feed her with me?” I arched a brow, puzzled. “Who is Sara?” She held up her doll with the white hair. “You both have the same name and even look the same.” The look in her eyes was so cute, I couldn’t bring myself to say, ‘She looks more like you than I do.’ Before I could say another word, Lila approached me, holding her phone high. Her eyes were wide and accusing. “Are you Saratan Credi? That staff from RainCloud works who beat up Alexis Camron?”

“Lila can see the past and future of anyone she touches, regardless of their species. All she needs is a physical connection.” A frown etched my face. “And how is that supposed to help?” “If you allow, she could look into yours to see if she would find anything on Gabriel. Anything at all could be helpful—a clue, a weakness, anything that could help us catch him before it’s too late.” It sounded like a trap. A very big one. “How far into the past and future can she see?”

She looked at Lilith. "I know I don't deserve forgiveness, I know I failed you, I'll understand if you never wish to see me again, but I'm really sorry, it'll mean the world to me if you could forgive me." Lilith looked at her with an unreadable expression on her face. Then... She slowly walked toward her. The young maid immediately lowered herself to her knees. Immediately, Lilith gently helped her back to her feet. Mira looked stunned. "L.. Lady Lilith..."

It was late and everyone was supposed to be in bed asleep. A part of me told me it was Elena and if truly it turned out to be her, I would chase her back. “Come in,” Marcus ushered briefly, closing his laptop. The door knob twisted and opened slowly. The moon goddess knew the eye was expecting to see Elena but who I saw wasn't who I expected. Lila walked in. I froze in my tracks. My eyes quickly took in her appearance. She was dressed in marching metallic blue pajamas with a matching blue flip flop. Her hair was packed in a pony with strands sticking out in every corner. She looked perfect even though she was dressed for bed.
