Moonbound: The Rise Of The Alpha

Moonbound: The Rise Of The Alpha

The Marked Ones tensed. Lyla smirked, but there was no humor in it. "Ghosts don’t leave scars," she said. And then The first whisper came. "Leave." A voice. Soft. Hollow. As if spoken from somewhere far away. The Marked Ones froze, hands tightening on their weapons. Jorin’s breath was sharp. "Did you hear" "Leave this place." The voice came again, closer this time. Lyla did not move. She kept her posture relaxed, kept her heartbeat steady. She would not show fear.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

God. Learning. Fair. Growing. Reasonable. Then Lily looked down. God. Thinking. Fair. Then whispered: "I'm silly." Reasonable honestly. A little. God. Then before Adrian could answer— a voice called from inside. Fair. Tiny. Reasonable. Very tiny. God. "Lih!" Fair. Both froze. Reasonable. Then came another. God. "Lih!" Fair. The voice came from the living room. Reasonable. Peanut. God. Calling.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

The Moon Princess

The Moon Princess

spoke the voice. Cynthia noticed that the voice was coming from nowhere else but from her en oops sorry MR.& MrsCyprus's garden. It was coming from the flower beds where the pretty white lily flowers were blooming with the cool breeze. She stepped nearer and saw a pigeon. There was no one else ."Is this pigeon speaking ? " she thought. "Hey can you hear me ?" said Cynthia. "Yes........I can ... I can speak too but only you can hear me as you are special " said the pigeon

Alpha’s Halfling Mate: Branded By My Sister’s Death

Alpha’s Halfling Mate: Branded By My Sister’s Death

The wait is long, but Sireen finally pulls up, and I’m not proud to admit that I was waiting close by, though discreetly, behind one of the many Leyland cypress trees planted by the gates. When I hear the male voice accompanying her, making a joke that causes her to release that sound again, the one that sings like a kid’s laughter when it’s the first rain of the season and they’re allowed to play in it, detest seeps through my pores like sweat. It’s him…again. He speaks. “So this is the almighty estate of Lily Anderson. It looks lonely.” From his words, they’ve been talking a lot, but I reel my anger in and grit behind the tree. They won’t hear my heart beating since I’m controlling my brea

The Alpha's Scar's

The Alpha's Scar's

As she focused her spirit, the air around her seemed to hum with energy, charged with unseen forces. Moments of silence stretched, heavy with anticipation, when suddenly a voice, as delicate as the wings of a butterfly, whispered through her consciousness—ethereal and layered with mystery. “Let the sleeping dog lie, Aria,” it urged, each word tinged with meaning and depth, echoing in her soul.

The Battle of Bloodlines

The Battle of Bloodlines

My anger started to fade away slowly like a thin air and my eye color started to get back to normal. I dropped the boundary of the spell that I was still holding on to and now Lily was free to walk away just when Elvin turned towards her while still holding my hand and I looked at his face, he had the vampire face on display with his blood vessels contracting near his eyes and said to her, “you better run away from here and never look back because this time she is sparing you as she has a funeral to attend to but who knows next time she might give a date worse than death and you might beg to die. So run away”.

The Luna He Rejected Is The Millennium Wolf

The Luna He Rejected Is The Millennium Wolf

She hit the floor this time instead of the wall, her body making a full contact sound that produced a wince from Elder Bowan, an expression from Alpha Onyx that he was working very hard to keep neutral. "Enough." Morrigan stepped forward. The voice inside me was already withdrawing. I felt it happening in my hands first, the particular heaviness of something pulling back, the warmth leaving my fingers, the resonance in my chest beginning to thin. I turned toward Morrigan. "I am Lily," the voice said, with the last of its certainty. "Not Sienna." Morrigan's hand moved. The slap connected. The world went sideways. I found the wall with my shoulder, my cheek, the back of my skull in rapid seque

Echoes of Moonfire

Echoes of Moonfire

Lyric stood behind us. The restraining spell was shattered, fragments of glowing blue drifting off her like dead embers. Her shoulders rose and fell, every breath a tremor. Her eyes glowed—a deep, furious red. Her gown whipped around her, though there was no wind. And her voice, when it came, wasn’t her voice at all. It was layered. Echoing. Ancient and monstrous. “No... one... restrains... my... movement...” Her foot shifted forward. “…and gets out alive. You should've left when you had the chance.”

His Gentle Voice, His Cruel Thoughts

His Gentle Voice, His Cruel Thoughts

I calmly typed my reply, "I'm at the studio, and I won't be going home tonight." The typing indicator appeared, and two seconds later, he sent me a half-hearted reassurance. "Fine, suit yourself. Don't work yourself too hard and come home soon." I stared at the words "come home soon" on the screen and didn't reply. Instead, I turned off the phone and tossed it aside. The world finally fell quiet again. Turning back, I looked at the canvas before me. Deep, oceanic blue pigment spread out beneath the tip of my brush and carved silhouettes into the composition.

Silas

Silas

“Running already?” I froze, my heart lurching into my throat. “I wasn’t running,” I said without turning around, my voice sharper than I intended. Silas chuckled, low and rough, the sound sending a shiver down my spine. “You always were a terrible liar.” I bit my lip, the sting of his words striking deeper than they should have. Slowly, I turned to face him. He was sitting up now, the sheet pooled around his waist, leaving his torso bare. His eyes, dark and unrelenting, locked onto mine.
