Don’t kill them!” My claws are already half-out. I force them back. Tendons in my forearm pull tight under the skin. My jaw aches from keeping the claws buried. The corridor fills with burnt sugar, wet copper, hot iron. These are people. Collared. Driven. The twin bond hums like a struck wire. Luna’s Link Call floods wider and Aiden’s consciousness slots against mine. It doesn’t merge. It aligns.

“NO! I am so sorry I blamed you earlier… I… I was just angry with myself…I…” He struggled to get up as he said, “You don’t understand… My soul is linked to The Dark Lord… Till I am alive, he can come back for you… for Tiara…” I felt like someone had punched me in the gut. It felt like a weird kind of energy entered my body Like I got connected to something Then I realised what he did He completed the blood fusion He unofficially made me a member of his pack by sharing our blood. Which meant that he could mindlink me whenever he wishes to.
