Lin looked at me and step forward, "Hi, my name is Lin Yang. I belong to the Magical White Wolves and I am the subordinate of Her Highness." Liam nodded, "Hi, I am Liam Martin. I belong to the Magical Dragons and I am Her Highness's mate. It was nice to meet you." They both shake hands. Lin stared at Liam, "If you ever tried to harm Her Highness, I will chop you into pieces." Liam chuckled, "Same goes for you. Anyways I am looking forward to your cooperation." Lin nodded, "Me too." The atmosphere was tense with both the beasts glaring at each other. I had no other choice but to break the silence.

As he approached, the elite guards instantly dropped their heads, bowing in deep reverence. All except one. A striking brown female Lycan pranced forward, her movements dripping with pride and unearned authority. A sickening wave of jealousy and raw hurt washed over Lillian and me as she touched paws with him. He didn't push her away. Instead, he nuzzled her neck, and a smug, victorious grin spread across her lupine face before she stepped back.

A hawk and a bunny; that sounds like a bad joke. "Thank you. Is there any news from Lindy?" I can't take my eyes off Shane. I like that name. Please don't leave me, Shane. I need you. I need to feel something other than the fear of being alone. "She and Dayan are almost here. She said he's her mate, and he's a lion. I guess they ran into some trouble at the storage unit. Lindy said she'll explain when she gets here." Wow, four of us are mated to misfits. I wonder if there are any more mates here. I hear the sound of approaching bikes and sigh in relief. Lindy and I graduated from nursing school together, so we're pretty close. I can't wait to tell her I met my mate too.

AYLA “There!” I screamed, and a huge lion jumped out. It was massive, its golden tail tangled with twigs, and its roar thundered through the trees like an earthquake. For a split second, it felt like the world stopped. The warriors around the yard scrambled, yelling orders and drawing weapons, but the beast’s eyes were locked on me. “Ayla, run!” Riven barked, stepping in front of me. The lion charged forward. Riven met it mid-air, his sword flashing as he slashed at the creature’s shoulder. It howled, twisting mid-air and tearing his skin open with a swipe of its massive paw. Riven flew back, landing hard with a heavy crack that made my blood boil.

“What lies beyond the pack borders?” She paused, staring at me suspiciously. I have never asked her that before so her reaction was understandable. “I’m just curious. I have never left the pack and sometimes I wonder what the other side looks like.” I continued. “Utter chaos, Serena. Death, and a lot of ruthless rogues who would leap at the opportunity to tear you apart.” You could feel the fear oozing from her as she spoke. “There are also rumors of the mad lycan king lurking beneath the cliff, looking for his prey. But, why do you ask?”

Back at the Beast Hall's Book Collection Vault in Desolate Grounds city, there was an ancient text that had spoken about the Blazing Overlord Lions. These lions were just like other lions, only that their bloodline were extremely peculiar. Unlike normal lions, the Blazing Overlord Lions had a scorching orange flame as fur. They also had the dragon bloodline mixed with theirs, and as such, if they claimed to be second strongest in the animal kingdom of their cultivation realm, then no animal would dare claim to be first.

Internal Breath shafts soared into the air, each taking the shapes of fists and palms, raining down on the lion. However, this monster lion, a Beast Lord-class animal very close to reaching Seventh-grade, possessed enough toughness to fight head-to-head against Zang Fengling. It was a fierce battle that not even their greater number could barely give them any edge. Instead, one of the Fifth-grade Human Kings was squashed by the lion with its paw into mince meat. In the end, it took Zang Fengling employing the use of one of his best Sacred Relics to finally drive the gargantuan lion away.

I smiled, "I know you aren't. You've proven it over and over again." Just then there was a knock at the door. Aidinth went to answer it and one of the men said, "Hi, we're from the Game and Fish Commission. I'm wondering if we can ask a few questions regarding the incident this morning." He said, "Definitely. Please come in." Aidinth introduced us, and I could smell that one of these guys was a wolf. The other wasn't human. I said, "It's nice to meet someone who is Lyke minded." Lyke is a Greek word for wolf. The guy looked at me and said, "It's nice to meet you, Princess." The other guy looked at him and he explained who we are. The other guy said, "Whew. I thought I was losing my mind. I k
