Their do’s and don't, heroes and heroine, the war between them and hunters and their little alliance with the witches. It had a similarity because the man who bit me was a vampire.

“That and ripping our hearts from our chest.” “Like in the books,” I mused. “No stake through the heart though,” she added. “that’s a myth.” “As is surviving solely on blood,” I said. “Oh definitely. Vampires are really not much different than humans when it comes to food for our bodies,” she volunteered. “Humans eat meat, don’t they?” “Mutants eat flesh, not vampires,” I said with disgust. “So, you’re an expert now?” she said with sarcastic surprise.

Wait... how could I smell them so clearly from so far? “Kenna?” “Yes, dear?” I accepted a glass from the tray. “Papa once told me that vampire blood hastens healing power in humans. What else does it do?” “Well.” She took a sip out of her glass. “It does heighten your senses a bit. You can see clearly, hear things better, and smell better. Your emotions also get a bit heightened. Each and every emotion will be stronger: anger, sadness, and even nervousness.” She gave me a knowing smile. “But if it’s too small an amount, you have nothing to worry about.”

“Down here, we keep the most valuable of artifacts. A special silver chest was built to hold them all, a chest which took twenty years to build. Inside of that chest, you will find what you need.” As they continued, the room opened up, and Caitlin was shocked to see standing before them, waiting, dozens of vampires, all dressed in white, all with white hoods. They each held a silver goblet, each one filled with a white liquid. In the center stood a single vampire, a man with a long silver beard and piercing green eyes. He stared kindly at Caitlin and Caleb, holding a small silver goblet for each of them. The woman gestured for them to approach.

I hope he didn't suspect me. "Hmm, well a vampire could be killed with the silver dagger, which you try to steal for Terry -" "Danny, focus." "Putting a vampire to sleep forever is easy. Just dip the silver dagger into a bottle of vervain and keep it inside the bottle for at least 24 hours before stabbing the person's heart with it. It'll put them to sleep for at least a generation." by the time Danny finished, my heart was beating like crazy. Was I really thinking of doing this?

Meanwhile, I sat inside the library of the Winter Garden, turning the entire place upside down to get information on vampires. “Strange.” I mumbled as I looked through the book titles. There weren’t many books or detailed information on vampires. It was all the basics, like how to kill a vampire with a wooden stake and all. Nothing that I didn’t know. I sighed as I flipped through the last book and threw it. Why was there not much information about the biggest rivals of wolves? I massaged my temple with my two fingers when my tired gaze fell on the open book that I had thrown across the room out of frustration.

Willow stared at him for awhile as he kept his eyes away. "Is there something I can do? Get you water or...?" Willow paused. She was throwing options out there, but Dante was no ordinary being. He is a Vampire. She had very little knowledge of the creatures, which was her fault for not being as prepared to possibly deal with them, but how would she have known she would be in the same room as one?
