Daddy got a call, and he moved a little bit away to pick it up. I moved back to the lingerie rack and packed the dresses I had picked once again, handing it over to the attendant. "But...." She wanted to complain. I put a hand over my mouth, and shush her. "Our little secret" I winked at her. Like nothing had happened, I continued picking dresses. Moments later, I was done. I usually have nowhere to go, so I don't need much clothes. Not when I have a lot of them in my own home.

This one had a smaller TV than the one in the living room. Underneath is a small TV stand stacked with a lot of CDs. I held one and looked at it amazed. I haven't seen one of these in years.

“You think people would assume that?” “I mean… guy buys girl coffee at eight a.m., drives her somewhere, studies together. Yeah. They’d assume.” He laughed low. “Then coffee shop. Let ’em assume.” My stomach flipped. Shut up, stomach. We ended up at this little place downtown with big windows and mismatched chairs. He picked a corner table away from everyone. We spread out the notes, textbooks, highlighters. He started explaining the stupid aldol condensation like it was the easiest thing in the world, drawing arrows on my paper with his perfect handwriting.

JASMINE The North Wing library was nothing short of magnificent. Shelves of polished ebony wood stretched from floor to ceiling, cradling tomes that smelled of ink, dust, and time itself. Arched windows bathed the room in golden light, and the faint crackle of a fire from the hearth kept the chill at bay. If the north wing didn't have a library, I would've gone crazy. Lucien made sure we had no access to electricity. I'm very much sure that he doesn't want me to call daisy and warn her.

Those books were valuable to you, so they have their own place," Dylan answered. Then Edlyn came over to touch those books. But unexpectedly, she saw a cockroach. She was startled and she even jumped because of fear. She almost fell down but Dylan immediately caught her up.

She returned in a few minutes and told me the name without beating around the bush,“ Miss Eva Dixon.” I was startled to hear her name but there was no point in assuming things. Maybe, she just liked the book. “ Are you sure?” I asked again. She nodded her head and I left thanking her again. I visited the other three libraries in the town. They had the same story to tell. It was always the Dixons, either Eric, Emily, or Eva. Now I was sure that this book was somehow related to The Dixons. I had to find a copy of this book. Tomorrow I would go to the nearby town in search of the book. I was getting late for college today.

Sam closed the file in front of him and completely focused on her voice. "I don't know the complete address. But it's on the north side. The library's name is "KSK Library ''. Julia looked at her nail which needed nail paint soon. "But I never heard the library name before." Sam's brows arched as he replied while adjusting his back on the chair. "Yeah, because It's an old small library and not famous." She answers and continues to get off the bed to walk toward the mirror drawer and takes out the matching nail paint from her hand nail paint to apply again.

She approached Dryzza carefully, not wanting to disrupt her train of thought in the hallowed silence. Dryzza glanced up briefly before returning her gaze to the floor. "It’s odd," she muttered, crouching to run a finger over the surface. She examined the fine layer of dust—or rather, the absence of it—and rubbed her fingertips together as if the texture could speak. "This library has been untouched for decades. Dust should cover every inch of this floor, and yet this spot looks recently cleaned."
