Chapter 11: Meeting David Faith’s P.O.V Like Debby had mentioned, the library wasn’t all that hard to find. And it was humongous! At this time of the day, there weren’t many students inside, or perhaps I wasn’t seeing everyone since the place was huge. Waving a ‘hello’ to the librarian as I showed her my student ID to get inside, I went straight for the isle that had the books I needed to look into in order to finish my homework.

She might never get rid of her so-called chubby look, but she wasn't going to pack on the pounds she'd managed to lose. As they moved through the store, Peyton noticed Dix limped a little, favoring his right leg to a certain degree. She wondered if he'd been in an accident then reminded herself it was none of her business. Back at the cottage, she finished putting her things away while she listened to Dix climb the stairs with his gear. She'd expected to hear heavy clomping overhead as he moved around but, for a big man, he was surprisingly light on his feet.

155 Shania adjusted the stack of books in her arms as she stepped into the cozy library at the foundation’s headquarters. This had quickly become her favorite spot to retreat to, a quiet space where stories lived and dreams flourished. A part of her still marveled at how far things had come. The library was bustling with activity as kids and young adults flipped through pages of novels and textbooks. Shania watched a young girl named Tasha animatedly discuss a book with her peers, her shy demeanor replaced by an infectious enthusiasm.

It’s a bit of a giveaway really. “Fantastic. Come through the entrance and take a left through the double doors into the library. It’s a bit quieter in here. See you soon.” She blows kisses down the phone, that makes me roll my eyes. It’s sooo corny. “They’ve just parked. Dexter has hitched a ride with them so he can have a drink.” She tells me. Great. ZION We were sitting in the local library trying to figure out the best chemistry project to do for the science fair. Since the school was so small, they didn't have a library so we had to use the one in town. Not many people came to the place though, only a few seats were taken with students who finished school about an hour ago. An old lady sat behind the counter at the entrance. Her head buried into a book and not paying attention to the people around her. The only time she picked up her head was when someone spoke above a whisper, shooting them a deadly glare before returning to her book.
