And my recent nightmares are related to the birthmark on my body. Whenever I fall asleep I dream that the birthmark on my body comes to life and turns into a man holding me from behind, slowly touching my body and kissing my back, then suddenly turns into a big wolf, crushing my bones bit by bit ,hardened eyes stared at me with a deadly gaze, and finally opened its mouth to tear my body apart.

He was my home. At some point I fell asleep crying. I woke up a few hours later in matching pajamas and curled up in my bed. I could tell he had been in the bed with me based on the way the blankets fell on the other side of the bed. I immediately panicked. I needed him by me. I grabbed my phone and saw all of the messages and calls from the last few days. I had talked to the kids and they were coming home tomorrow. I was so ready to see them but right now all I wanted was Collier. I didn’t want to look like a child calling him to see where he was. There wasn’t a sound in the house though so I knew he wasn’t here.

The reunion with my buddies seemed to have brought back my sleep as well. The nightmare struck me again like every night as I found myself pacing through the black forest again with the glowing moon guiding my way through the umbra. As usual, I discovered the castle and heard the despicable scream, but this time, my eyes fell on the night sky…which gradually moulded and took the form of that dreadful face with pointed incisors and bloodshot pupil-less eyes and face white as a sheet, whose blood-curdling cackle shook the c

Weird, I Know. "Where are you taking me?" I asked no one in particular hoping anyone would tell me, but none responded. "Matt, did you finish it?" The man with glasses asked the man on my left. So, his name is Matt. "Yes." Matt replied. My eyelids felt get heavy as the few minutes passed by in complete silence, and I fell asleep. My eyes shot open when someone shook me by my shoulder. I craned my neck to look at the man who woke me.

And why was Mark always hurting her in the dreams? She stripped her nightshirt off and got in the shower. Once she felt more relaxed, she got out. She hadn’t told Mark about the nightmares she’d been having. He’d been so sweet the past five months. They had even planned Christian’s birthday party. It was this weekend. She dried off and walked out to the bedroom. She opened the drawer to grab some pajamas when she heard Mark’s voice. “Hey. Are you okay?” he whispered. “Just had a bad dream is all.”

Leaving me with him. He doesn't bother shutting the door. He knows he doesn't have to. No one cares. I'm on the bed now. The duvet cover was Claire's. It's a lurid print of the Powerpuff Girls. I don't even like the Powerpuff Girls, but the other one is stuffed in a Bargain Booze carrier bag and shoved in one of my drawers. I wet the bed last night and had to clean it up before Mum saw it, but there was no washing powder and no money to buy anymore. I make a mental note to get some tomorrow. She'll have money tomorrow.

Even the gulls’ cries sounded frightened, unsure of what the gloomy day might bring. I hadn’t slept well after our family meeting at the kitchen table. Disquieting dreams plagued my night, though I couldn’t remember a single one. Instead of going down to scavenge breakfast, I grabbed the next issue of “They Come Out at Night” and flopped back onto my bed. The back cover was missing, leaving torn-off, jagged edges and exposing the advertisements on the last page of the comic. There were the usual ads for x-ray glasses and onion gum and joy buzzers and Charles Atlas, but one at the bottom caught my eye.

She smiled at the thought that her little Lilith would join the rangers tomorrow as all she was enthusiastic about was to be a ranger and a superhero like father. She stood from the chair and it drew back under her drawing and colouring table where she had brought it from as she kept the storybook back in its place on the shelf. She turned off the lamps by the two sides of her cute bed and left the room, shutting the door lightly behind her. The night remained calm till it was midnight. Someone suddenly appeared in Lilith's room, watching her from the door where he stood. It was dark to his features, but it was certain that his white robe glittered and sparkled in the dark.

“Don’t be afraid. Nina will be fine.” Nina and Yvonne slept together that night. Before bed, they drank the calming tea Yvonne had made. It worked well, and they fell asleep quickly. But Nina had another nightmare. In it, many people were crying. The dark room was filled with a heavy scent of blood. There were cries, terrifying laughter, and a ghastly face. Nina woke up in a fright. “Nina, did you have another nightmare?” Yvonne asked. She had heard Nina’s sobbing even before she woke up.
