After calming their breaths, they both fell into deep sleep. Jasper tossed and turned in his sleep, plagued by nightmares that seemed too real, too vivid. One particular dream stood out. He was in a cozy, intimate room, with soft lighting. In the dream, Luna was with him, her soft voice telling him everything would be okay. He could hear the sound of her laughter, her familiar presence that had once been a source of comfort to him.

"You did what you had to. You were only trying to keep me safe." He was close to me now. He nodded and tucked a hair behind my ear. "I could not sleep either…" He whispered. "Nightmares?" I asked. He chuckled. "I am the Nightmare, Yulia…. I couldn't possibly have them," he boasted. "What kept me up at night was someone else." He looked into my eyes. “It was you…” I cleared my throat nervously as my brows shut up my face. "Me? How?" "That kiss," He said. "I dreamt of your lips all night."

His face flashes to mine, with a creepy evil smile and bright red eyes focused on me. He starts running to me, “No!” I scream, but it doesn’t slow him. I turn to run but he pounces on my back. My moms face appears in front of me, “This is all your fault!” She screams. That’s last thing I remember before I wake up to someone screaming my name. “Amy! Amy, wake up!”

In those nightmares Aurora came to drag me out of bed, and into the dungeon. There I am beaten, and whipped by everyone in my life. I am screamed at. I am told how worthless I am.
