Liam P.O.V. “Happy birthday to you… Make a wish, ladybug.” I hug my little sister tight, kissing her head. She smiles happily at me, looking down at the box in my hand. “What is that?” She asks, getting all giddy, I laugh at her antics, handing her the box. She opens it, squealing in delight. I gave her the book series she really wanted, and I promised to take her to the book cafe in town later today. I have never been there myself, as I am not as much into books as Clara, but today is all about her and I will do absolutely anything to make her happy.

After the party last night, saying goodbye to Ella, I asked her out for lunch this time, it was my turn to ask her out, she said yes. We went to our home with a big wide smile plastered on my face, this was the best birthday ever, how did she even managed to find a little that likes reading and books. She even work in the book shop, see my love for stories did pay out, we found her, we still didn’t know how to ask her about being a little, or being our little to be exact. But we did agree on taking things slow with her, on letting her get used to us on her own terms and conditions.

We walked to the orphanage gates. When my sister, Nancy Walker—or perhaps she should now be called Nancy Quill—saw the Maybach parked out front, her eyes lit up. Her adoptive mother, Helen Bronson, took her hand and said, "Nancy, our family isn't actually poor. We were just testing you earlier. We didn't expect you to be such a good kid who doesn't chase after money. From now on, you'll be our little princess."

But we have a new girl here wanting to join us.” The pen stopped, and Brook swivelled round in the direction of Tilly and Mia. Brook pushed the red frames down her nose and looked at Mia from above them. “What is your name?”

Because she was shy, the girl nestled her head into her mother's armpit to avoid Luciana's attention. “Come one Miriam, don’t be shy. Mrs. Greensmith softly tapped the small girl's shoulder and murmured, "These are Norval's friends." “Please accept my apologies for her behaviour; she is a little shy around new people. Mrs. Greensmith said, "This is Miriam, Norval's younger sister."

The girl named Novel sat up, her eyes locked on her sister. “Novel... let’s run away,” she whispered. “Not now,” the other replied. The room shifted. I was watching the twins grow. Suddenly, I was looking at fifteen-year-old Novel. “Run, Alessia! Run!” she shouted. Before the younger-looking me could get far, Maxillo caught her and threw her against a wall. A man moved to hit her, but Novel, the sister, stabbed him before he could. “Maxillo, you’re our brother!” Novel shouted.

Wait there is one more person in her family. And that's her brother. Mr. Aarav Srinivasan. Well, he is in Pune right now with his family. He is a big-shot businessman. He owns a company. He is married with two kids. Her sister-in-law is Mrs. Anitha Aarav. She is a fashion designer. And her niece is Anuradha alias Anu. She is quiet and a cutie pie. And then her nephew is Vikram. Let's just say he is not exactly the innocent little kid though he does pull off an innocent face very well. He is the little devil of the family. But she loves him so much for his antics. Those kids are the two people in her life who can make her smile- not the plastered one Sindhu gives everyone but a genuine smile.

I was eating cereal at the kitchen table when Mom asked, "Cassian, where is your sister?" "It's Livia, Mommy. She is probably running around as usual." Mom shook her head. "That girl can never sit still. Livia, breakfast is ready," she yelled. We could hear little feet pattering on the floor. Seconds later, my kid sister zipped into the kitchen. "I'm Ladybug Girl!" she shrieked, slipping into the chair beside me. And the saga of acting out her favorite book, Ladybug Girl, begins. "Did you know ladybugs eat bugs?"

Our little sister appeared in front of us out of thin air. Woah, it is magic. Even if I want to believe, I can't make myself do it. I sighed. There's no magic. "Big Sis. You see, you see" our little sister eyes is sparkling with stars and she excitedly claps both of her hands and jump many times before she finally andbcompletely landed down on her own new bed.
