 The Better Place

The Better Place

" Sis Stacy said. " Oh, alright. " I said embracing her. She patted my hair in response before breaking the hug and living the room. Now, I was left alone in the room. I sat on the mini Queen-sized bed which was super soft and sighed. My room in the attic can't be compared to my current room. They are just so far apart. Just like Heaven and Hell. Now, I understand exactly how Sushie Williams the female lead in the novel Jemmy narrated to me felt when she was brought to her new room.

Louisa shouted, interrupting the silence in the library with her penetrating voice. Ms Kate threw Louisa a glare from a distance. Sheila smirked before following her friend towards labyrinth of bookshelves. "Did ye find the book?" Sheila whispered, as soon as she stood beside her friend rummaging through the row of books. "I'm still searching," she replied, pulling out a book titled the great expectation by Charles Dickens. "What's the title?" Louisa shoved the book to its stance and pulled out another book, but the title was far from what she expected. She groaned in disappointment. What if someone else took it?

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

“Little princess, these are the women that applied to be your servant. Mr. Lynch said to let you pick.” Nellie nodded and walked over. Too big, no. Too thin, no. Too fierce, no. When Nellie saw the fourth woman, her eyes sparkled. She almost let out a scream. This woman was Lily, the servant who has been working at Uncle Malcolm’s! Lily noticed that Nellie recognized her. She winked at Nellie. Nellie made her decision immediately. “Her!” Lucas was stumped and confused. This woman was skinny and petite. She could barely compete with the first few, so why did Nellie immediately pick her?

Hey, author!! Don't you dare ending the story.. haha I enjoy all the problems they're having and how they always find a way to solve their problem no matter how difficult it is. One problem solved, another problem comes up.. and another and another.
Nora de Guzman
I've read this up to hundreds then I get bored. almost the same as others, Fl is dumb, she don't face the problem, always jumping to conclusions. She don't even analyze everything. The only story am satisfied with is the FL in " three little guardian angel " I recommend this story.

"No. It was from the library. What do you want to make for dinner tonight? Maybe burgers, salsa, and guacamole? Tell Mom I'm going over to Sarah's house to study for the math test. What about you? What are you doing?" "I guess I'll go to the library. There's something I need to look up," she said. At the library, Jane found The Yearling listed in the computer catalog. It was by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, shelved upstairs with the adult books. But she found Lucy there, browsing through the same section. It wasn't their Peer-Teaching day, Jane thought about turning away and sneaking out of there before Lucy saw her, but she heard Lucy's voice calling her name.

(Williams family) who's the boss. 'It's honestly like high school drama but instead of young teenage girls, it's a bunch of middle-aged woman who has nothing better to do with their lives other than to flex their money.' Liliana of course succeeds is taunting them but fails in embarrassing them, since Yvonne was there. The Reeves become the embarrassment rather than the Williams because of what Yvonne did to Natalie. I finally closed the book and hid it. I decided not to eat and just sleep. It didn't take long before I dozed off and finally fell into a deep sleep. I was tired that day as well because of walking all around the school.

Shading Black

Shading Black

James sat in his cane chair with his eyes closed and feet resting on the table as he listened to the sound of two goats in his backyard, bleating. The goats were gifts from Osinala which arrived very early in the morning before he could say the Lord's Prayer and brush his teeth. He looked forward to another meeting in the village square when he had regained his confidence and was strong enough to defend his cause. He stood up now and walked to the small pile of books he had arranged last night in search of an exemplary text that would fascinate his mind and set him in the right mood. Some weeks ago, he had considered writing a book about his trip to Africa. Unlike all the books he had read,

Claimed by Two Brothers

Claimed by Two Brothers

It was a shame the library didn’t take into account situations when a reader couldn’t return books due to health issues. I had to admit, my mother had good taste. I had read these books myself and especially loved Little Women and Dandelion Wine. I had always thought she preferred women’s romances — passionate dukes, charming princes, delicate ladies. Well, I was wrong, and apparently there was still a lot about her I didn’t know. I now had a rough idea of her taste, yet I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t asked which books she had already read and which she hadn’t.

Sweet Submission: Love Me, Mr. Billionaire

Sweet Submission: Love Me, Mr. Billionaire

We laid out the mat and opened the basket. But before I could unpack anything, Cole took something out of his bag. “I got something for you.” At first, I didn’t understand what it was—but when I saw the cover, my breath caught in my throat. “Is that—?” I gasped. He handed it to me. ‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcott. Not just any copy. A first edition. My chest tightened. “How did you...?” “You mentioned once how much you wanted it during our previous visit to the zoo,” he said. “So I made a few calls, pulled some strings last night… and had it delivered this morning.”
