As we all watch, he shrinks down into a little brown squirrel with shiny black eyes and a very fine fluffy tail. He squeaks with fear, dashing for Laila, who coos with delight and scoops him up in her hands, cradling him close to her chest.

She chuckles, putting down the beige one and picking up a smaller, puffier, white one but with little dark spots. "This one here is named Bismuth. She's just a puppy and sweeter then sugar. She doesn't bite and likes about everyone." She scratches her tiny head as the puppy yips playfully but restfully. I start to breath faster as she brings the animal closer to me, its little tongue outside of it's mouth. I can't seem to move as Jasmine gives me a confused face. "You alright there?" After work Blaze shifted her back home. He has to go to the dark realm, but first, he wants to see her reaction when she finds her gift waiting for her in their room. Bella walked inside the room, absently and came to a stumbling stop when her eyes landed on the soft toy lying on the bed. Her eyes became wide and tears pricked at the back of her eyes. She turned to go back downstairs and thank Blaze for being so sweet, but she found him standing near the threshold of their room, leaning on the door frame with a small smile.

“I thought it was interesting yesterday.” “Interesting…weird…they’re both cool, I guess.” I stop at the edge of the aisle. Betty is watching me, mouth hanging slightly open. Binx trots over, and she breaks her stare, dropping down to her knees to pet him. He’s a bit of a celebrity around here, actually. Everyone assumes he’s a regular cat, of course, and thinks I spent a lot of time training him. To hold up the pretense of being a house cat, he does cat-like stuff, like knocking shit off the counters and carrying around hair-ties while meowing loudly.

Baxter informed the group of the changes while rolling up the map which sat in front of him, his comment causing a smirk to fill Browns lips. “Oh, I’m that lady’s babysitter am I, ooo I know ways to keep her safe.” Brown commented sucking his teeth a little thinking of such an event, but for Baxter, this allowed anger to consume his being, in a swift moment, he’d gotten up from his chair and grabbed Brown by the throat.
