I snapped. I felt like hitting his head hard. Living with him wasn't so hard because he was always stuck with work and won't pay attention to you except when he needed you to do something. These past days the relationship between us was a Boss and employee only. I had told him how my dream job was to get into his company but the ungrateful guy won't hire me. He said I would have to prove my ability to him before he hires me. That was so annoying but what could I do? Acting like his personal secretary when he won't officially employ me was the worst of all.

His hand gripped the wheel loosely, his focus steady on the road, the glow of the streetlights painting his face in gold and shadow. “So,” he said after a few minutes, “how was work today?” “Rough,” I replied with a sigh. “But at least it’s over.” He glanced at me. “You look like you need a long vacation.” “Tell me about it.” I laughed. “But knowing my boss, that’s never going to happen.” “Sounds familiar.” His tone turned softer. “I’m not really close to my family, so I know the kind of shit that builds up when work’s the only thing left keeping you busy.”

And just before the doors closed, I saw the writing above the door. Lounge. "Fucking lounge of course he'll be there!" I gritted my teeth, thankful I managed to get out. You may think I was avoiding him, but wouldn't you? We were living in the same house. Under the same roof! Was that not worth panicking about?? I don't know, the more I thought about it, the more unsettled I became. He was the last person I wanted to share an apartment with. The very lady person! Come to think he was my boss. My boss. I was living with my boss.

Gina... The fact that I have to work, living Dee by herself makes me sick. I am really worried about her. If I could live work and run back home just to check up on her, that would be better. I can't do that because my boss is not around the office. She is away on business. She left me in change of everything. so I can't just go and live the office. I have to be a good leader if I want the promotion she told me about.
