Loki Had A Medkit 소설 & 이야기

I reluctantly gave it another attempt, squeezing my eyes shut as I downed it. Warmth slowly spread through me afterward, chasing away most of the dizziness clinging stubbornly to my body. By the time I finished it, I actually had enough energy for the hunt. He handed me another small vial of the tonic. “Take it with you during the hunt. In case you feel weak.” I nodded and took it. “And as I’ve already said, you’ll be in my team and remain beside me,” Malric repeated for what felt like the hundredth time.

Lorenzo replied. Unfortunately, he was right. The stolen medical kit became our next problem. Reef quietly locked down the lower floors under the excuse of a routine security inspection, while Mara began retracing every route she had used during her first weeks as a spy. “What was inside the kit?” Jordan asked Eli once we returned to the strategy room. Eli sat at the table and replied, “Mostly ordinary medicines. Fever treatments, blood stabilizers and healing compounds.” “Mostly?” I repeated. Eli looked at me and answered, “There was one vial of a rare suppressor. Healers use it during dangerous procedures when a bloodline ability interferes with treatment.”

They stated that love was blind; therefore, maybe my blindness was caused by my love for Lopo. As I was finishing up my clothes, Core and Lily assisted me. It was merely a white garment with a single blue belt fastened to it; the material had no particularly intricate pattern. It was a light, fluffy cloth that felt nearly delightful against my skin. It had been a long time since I had worn a garment with such a basic appearance. You and your attire, as Luna of the Nightfall Pack, serve as the public face of our pack." Lopo, the scoundrel, had been saying this all the time as he gave me fitted garments that looked like they were meant to kill the wearer.

His mouth opened, and a hoarse voice escaped: "Resting... place... beneath... temple... He... awakes..." Then, Kit's eyes closed. His body went limp. The dark shadow emerged from his mouth like black smoke and shot out through the window gap, disappearing into the night. Siron knelt beside Kit, checking on him. His breathing was steady, but he was unconscious. On the opposite floor, Mr. Rudi was also still, but his chest still rose and fell slowly. The locket in his hand stopped glowing. Siron examined the object. His mother had never told him about the locket's power. Did all temple keepers possess similar protective items?

Then, without warning, he got up from his seat and walked toward the massive window. He stood there, tall and rigid, staring down at his pack. Warriors sparred below; pups chased each other across the field. Young lovers hid beneath the massive oak tree, thinking they were being discreet. The whole pack was alive, thriving, oblivious to the storm brewing inside their Alpha. “I found my mate,” Kyron said at last, his voice low…too low. His left hand slipped into his pocket while his right clutched the curtain, knuckles pale from how tight he held it.

My stomach growled and Brut left the cave. “Better get back before dark,” Loki said, snidely. Brut snorted and I could hear the movement of a horse. He mounted and I could hear the sound of the horse’s shoes hitting rocks as he moved down the embankment. “Donkey’s ass,” Loki complained. I agreed with him, but the drug was still in my system and I dozed off again.

Astrid continued calmly, "is what will happen to you once the Alpha finds you. Cubs are rare here, I understand." The warrior stumbled to a stop and tugged on her bindings mercilessly. Astrid bit the inside of her cheek to avoid crying out. "What in all of Loki's tricks are you babbling about?" He started digging into his vest with his free hand searching for something. The woman guessed it was likely a rag to stuff in her mouth. She had to get the information out quickly.

Even though it was a bit difficult at first, in the end she managed to do it. When she arrived at the deserted village of Moonstone Pack, someone saw her. He immediately ran out of sight of Lyn, but actually he ran to report what he had just seen to Luna Lisha. Three more houses and Lyn would arrive at Lycia's hut. However, several people blocked her. The two people at the forefront are Alpha Ordovic and Luna Lisha. The Luna looked very worried and panicked. Lyn had to remind herself that Luna was worried about Lycia, not her. The love of her parents is a luxury that Lyn will never get.

Loki had always been my wise and comforting companion, but now, he displayed signs of concern. "Listen to Ashford, Alexei," Loki's voice resonated in my thoughts. "This isn't a wise path to follow. Sneaking into the pack house could lead to grave consequences. The guards are everywhere, and you risk exposing yourself to danger." Despite Loki's warnings, my determination was unwavering. My overwhelming desire to see Tori had clouded my judgment, and I responded with a hint of stubbornness, "Loki, I understand the risks, but I can't wait any longer. I need to see Tori. It's something I must do."
