The Transferees

The Transferees

Hero and Lance came few minutes after she called the former, informing him that she brought his friend home. "It's Liam. He's here in Casa. He is looking for you. Fortunately, Max was there to save me." Hero looked at her. She did not change her reaction. "Thank you, Max. We owe you our friend's life," Lance said. "Don't mention it," she replied briefly. "Did Liam recognize you?" Hero asked her. "I don't think so," she replied. "You said you have something else to do. Why did you go out alone?" "I was bored."

Hero of Her Whole World

Hero of Her Whole World

When I finally got hold of Mom and Dad tomorrow, they could transfer some money to me, and then I'd be able to leave this godforsaken place. I tapped on the Uber app to try and get a ride back to the hotel. However, since it was raining cats and dogs, there were barely any drivers about. I waited for another half an hour and even paid a premium price before finally managing to get a driver. On the way back, the driver kept glancing at me through the rearview mirror when he noticed that I was a student and all by myself. "Are you all alone, miss?" I shivered and instinctively gripped my phone a little harder.

The Lonesome Hours

The Lonesome Hours

I bit my lip, feeling a bit embarrassed, and could only offer a brief explanation. “Farrell drives a long-haul truck. He only comes home a few times a year.” “I see…” Hearing this, Cowell nodded knowingly, though I did not notice the fleeting gleam of shrewdness that flashed beneath his eyelids. As time went by, all my heat seemed to converge on my lower abdomen. It felt as if a furnace had suddenly been activated in my core. I wanted it so badly… No, I cannot make a fool of myself in front of Jetson’s friend. That would be utterly humiliating.

The Lone Wolf

The Lone Wolf

The two of them just stared at each other, and I was, standing there like the odd one out. The last two years had been kind to my brother. No scars, no missing limbs. His ashy blond hair tied back into a low ponytail, right at the base of his neck. Clean shaven as always, a golden tint taken to his skin. Lean, and dorky in appearance, but still able to hold his own in a one on one. “...mate…” They both just said, in a very unison tone. My guess is the wolves were going insane inside their heads.

And _cried_. For the first time in 18 years. Rylan patted his face. _Seven_. _Four_. _Both_. _Neither_. “_Not _lonely_ now_,” he said. And _smiled_. _Whole_. ---

Moonlit Betrayal: Lone Wolf

Moonlit Betrayal: Lone Wolf

My heart pounded with fear and desperation as I watched Lucas, being surrounded by the formidable forces of Rennes and his pack. Lucas's face was a mask of grim determination as he faced off against Rennes, the Black Moon Clan's ruthless leader. It was a showdown of titanic proportions, two alphas locked in a deadly dance. But Rennes was too powerful, and I could see the desperation in Lucas's eyes as he fought to hold his own.

The Supreme Heiress

The Supreme Heiress

He was dressed in black and wearing a black hat, but even though the man's face was obscured, his presence was imposing. "Mr. Kennedy." The man greeted him respectfully after removing his sunglasses. When the sunglasses came off, Jade managed to see the man's face clearly and felt stunned. The person who had arrived was none other than the world-class mixed martial arts champion, Owen Jean, also known as Lone Wolf. It was said that his nickname had been given to him because he had killed a wolf with a single punch. Not being surprised would be simply inconceivable. Encountering such a heroic figure in the Fitzgeralds’ home was truly astounding.

and if you’re really doing this for her, don’t ever expect anything in return. Finally decided, Hero looks up at Lyra's condo building one more time then leads his motorbike to the building just next to it. He disappears into the underground parking area, reappears at the front desk, gets greeted by the lone guard sitting behind the desk, then finally enters the elevator. The condo unit he enters was obviously newly cleaned. Hero smiles at the fresh smells and neat dustless interior. He was about to take a bath but he realizes that Lyra’s scent was still on his chest, shirt, arms…

I haven't read that much erotica, but I must say that this is a great story to start with. Especially if you want something non-vanilla from the get-go. The characters are well-written, and the plot has many layers and will keep you thinking. I like that it also has quite a bit of social commentary.

Overnight Magnate

Overnight Magnate

Who knows what he could have achieved in these 20 years if he hadn't fallen ill? Lugh sighed. "Almost no one could match Tristan's skill or kill count. He called himself the third best not because there were others better in the Lone Light, but because he believed the most powerful fighter had to be God, the second was the Devil, and he was the third. "He also respected the then-leader of the Lone Light, Aldirn Rayburn, which is why he didn't claim to be the best. If Aldirn and Tristan dueled, deciding the winner wouldn't be easy."
