His Forbidden Mate

His Forbidden Mate

“I'm sorry, but this is the only way he won't suspect that you helped me escape. I promise, I will come back for you. Scanning the area to make sure no one saw him, Hunter ran into the woods as fast as his legs could carry him. As he ran, he heard the sound of twigs snapping behind him. He turned around to see a pack of wolves, their eyes glowing in the dark. Quickly, he found a hiding place. It was an old pit. Without thinking what lay inside, he quickly jumped in. He could barely put up with the hard smell, but he had no choice. He could feel the wolves closing in on him. He closed his eyes and hoped that they wouldn't find him. He could hear them speaking in distinct voices, but then, it

Then, suddenly everything happened at once. A sharp thwip sound echoed in the room, and Jonah and Ryder both grunted in pain, their bodies going rigid before collapsing to the floor. “Shit!” I cursed, getting behind a sofa for cover as I scanned the area. Hunter stepped out of the shadows, a smirk on his face, holding the tranquillizing gun that had taken my friends out. His face glinted with satisfaction. “Well, well, well,” Hunter drawled, his voice dropping with condescension. “I definitely was not expecting you three, but this is almost better. Saved me the trouble of hunting you down later.”

Omega Luna Ran Away With Our Twins

“I’ve not heard of you.” “Eremita is the Lost Luna, Ames,” said Hunter. I was surprised to hear him backing up the story he’d concocted. I’d expected him to throw me to the wolves – literally – the first chance he got. “Besides, when have you ever been to the desert?” He sounded bored of her already.

I'm finding this book really hard to follow. I also don't like how we get Jane's perspective, then Hunters perspective but on the same time period. I feel as though I'm just reading the same chapters over. There's too much going on.

Dangerous Attraction

Dangerous Attraction

“G’night.” Sleep wouldn’t come. She’d known it wouldn’t. Not with images of the bombings and the girls’ frightened faces flickering through her head. Hunter’s quiet breathing reassured her she at least wasn’t alone, yet somehow she felt lonelier with him stretched out on that couch across the room. She turned from one side to the other, even pulled the pillow over her head to block out the tiny bit of light coming from the bathroom. No matter what she did she couldn’t relax. “That mattress have lumps in it or something?” Hunter asked finally after an unknown amount of time had passed.

- You see, now that you are calmer I want to inform you of where you have been. His previously lit face had darkened. My hairs stood on end. What he was about to tell me was not good. The Hunter in front of him was not the same one who was singing country in the shower. He was the one hired by the mafia to shoot and murder indiscriminately. That was the Hunter I feared and had him by my side. I looked down at my shaking hands. My hands never shook. Bad augury.

THE RUNAWAY LUNA

THE RUNAWAY LUNA

she asked, her tone more amused than concerned, but her gaze shifted to me—pregnant, disheveled, and obviously on the run. I could feel my heart race, paranoia sinking its claws in deeper. I needed my wolf now more than ever. The fear of Rowan finding me, of someone recognizing me and tipping him off, surged through me. I glanced around the diner, scanning for any hint of danger, my nerves prickling with anxiety. "No trouble," Hunter shrugged casually, though I could sense the tension in his voice. He gave a nod toward the man beside the woman. "Dean."

Her Bodyguard, His Target

Her Bodyguard, His Target

Pressing the gun hard against the side of his leg, Hunter made his way up her driveway. He took the three steps that lead to her porch. He looked back to see if no one was watching him. No one. He looked up at the sky, there were no stars visible just a huge round moon. The whitish greyish of the moon lit up the night sky. It would have been a perfect evening for couples to have a picnic on a mountain somewhere or cuddle on a sofa and watch a romantic movie. But for Hunter, this was a perfect day to murder his childhood psychologist and kill the pain that had been living inside of him ever since his first meeting with her.

Knotting the Hunter

Knotting the Hunter

The gym is the one thing in my life I picked instead of inherited. And somebody snatched a girl right outside, while I counted reps. That’s on me. I sent the hunter out to count the missing. He's out there right now, alone, human, dead sure the worst thing in these woods is me. Go, says the wolf. Not a scrap of humor left in him. For the first time in weeks we want the exact same thing.

This book is so good! The 3 books I’ve read so far from this author are on my top 5 favorite on this app and this one is about to be #4! Love the writing style and love the humor in the story. I’m rooting for Dax and Noah!

Really enjoying this book so far, this is definitely one of my favorites male male books I've read on here. Quinn is really good at those it seems. Especially the relationships, but the side characters and conflict are super compelling too. Excited to read more.

Rise of the Omega

Rise of the Omega

HUNTER’s POV Quietly I make my way down the long, dark and smokey hallway of the topmost floor. I know Clyde is nearby, I can smell the stench of his wolf even through the smoke. The guy needs a bath. And maybe a full-body scrub too. There are other scents too…Clyde is not alone. I draw my gun, time for a little game of cat and mouse. Two dark figures run across the hallway and I smile. I chase after the men who lurk in the shadows and realize that one of them is trying to corner me.

The Hunter

The Hunter

I watched as the silver burned his palm, but he didn’t make a sound, he just threw the knife from my hand across the room. The look in his eyes turned from anger to crazed. I knew he was bound to slip up in this frenzied state. Luckily for me, I was a Hunter. No, I wasn’t just a Hunter, I was the best Hunter in The Academy. I knew I needed clarity, I needed to remain calm, and the only way I could do that was to get a read on his thoughts. He grabbed my throat and I instinctively tried to pry his hands away, but in reality I was reading him like a fucking book. He planned to kidnap me, and throw me into a hallucination, one where I would never know the difference between real and fake. He wa

I picked up 'The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter' expecting a melancholy slice of southern life, and what I got was a slow, aching study of people who can’t quite reach one another. The plot centers on John Singer, a deaf-mute who becomes an unlikely confidant for a handful of lonely townspeople. He doesn’t speak, but he listens — which makes him a magnet for a girl named Mick Kelly who’s restless and musical, for Dr. Copeland who’s frustrated by racial injustice, for Jake Blount the passionate agitator, and for Biff Brannon the observant café owner.

Singer’s own life has a tragic hinge: he had a deep connection with another man, Spiros Antonapoulos, whose institutionalization (and the suffering around it) leaves Singer shattered. As the novel moves through episodes in each character’s life, we see how Singer’s steady, almost mute presence gives them a place to unload hopes, fears, and failures. The town becomes a mirror for loneliness, economic struggle, and longing.

The book doesn’t rely on big events so much as small, bruising revelations: conversations that don’t land, plans that go nowhere, and the quiet erosion of hope. In the end Singer’s despair becomes unbearable, and the final act is heartbreakingly inevitable. It’s one of those novels that lingers, not because everything is solved, but because the characters feel like people you might pass on the street — and that closeness hurts in a good, honest way.
