The Lone Wolf
He had neither.
Like a ghost, he walked through the rows of tents with ease. No one stopped him, they had no reason to. He was trusted and his recent accomplishments had made a good impression on the warriors in the camp and improved his standing in their hearts. He was the revered warrior to them, the slayer of the Vrykolakas, the wolf who never failed. He had single-handedly slain dozens of them and made a name for himself.
But they didn’t know, that he wasn’t what he seemed like. That he had sold them off to die like chickens, to be sacrificed, and that there would be no victory, but something worse.
