The choice of locations from which I had to pick from were either very sparsely populated farming towns or isolated hamlets which were very different and so far removed from the modern landscape of any major high rise city. I had decided to go with a little farming town more than a hundred miles outside of the city. It was a beautiful and quaint little town with no more than a thousand people living there. Rural meant small and small always meant safe. We couldn’t risk any of Jeremy’s associates spotting us in any other big city even though I really wished we had simply moved to one.

On our way back from the gas station, that was another dead end, Dallas and I make a detour to a small town with a little bar.
